Well, uhm. It's.. sorta ShikaIno. >>; It's got SasuIno and ShikaIno. Yes, I support both. Get over it. There's also mention of ShikaTema, which I detest. Anyway..
Well, it's pretty much that Ino's randomly thinking of Shikamaru, so she decides to wake up Sasuke and talk to him. Except the conversation doesn't go as she planned, and she thinks the flower shop was left open, so she goes to it, and surprise surprise, there's Shikamaru. Just a little fluff, some conversations. Not good at all.
I have to get the motivation for the other one. << I got the permission to write it from the person who thought of the idea, I just.. haven't found the motivation. The other one should be much better.
P.S. ShikaIno pwns all (:

- The quiet noise that plastic made when place atop a counter filled the air as the Yamanaka heiress put a brush down on a counter. The noise did not awaken the sleeping Uchiha, who had basically collapsed on the bed the second he entered the house. Ino almost had to carry him to their room. Now she walked back into the room, light blue eyes focused on her sleeping husband. He looked so peaceful, so… serene. The same way Shikamaru looked when he slept. She shook the thought away, ignoring the sudden pang of sadness that washed over her. She wanted to let Sasuke sleep, but didn’t want Shikamaru to fill her mind. So she let Sasuke sleep for a couple minutes. Yet she still walked over to the bed and purposely sat down on Sasuke’s back. A groan was emitted from the now-awake shinobi.
“Was that necessary?” Sasuke asked, turning his head to focus ebony eyes on Ino.
“Fully,” the mind-walker replied, forcing a smile upon her lips, hiding the shock of how much this scene reminded her of Shikamaru. And unfortunately for Ino, Sasuke picked up on that distant look in her eyes.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing’s wrong,” she replied immediately, light blue eyes shifting to Sasuke.
“Something’s wrong,” Sasuke insisted, shaking his head the best he could, considering it was still on a pillow and he didn’t want to move because Ino was still sitting on his back.
“I… think I left the flower shop open.” Ino made up quickly, pushing herself off the dark-haired nin’s back and into a standing position next to the bed. “I’ll be back, it shouldn’t take very long, just have to make sure everything’s there, and then lock up. Go back to sleep.” She told the Uchiha, planting a small kiss on his lips before using body flicker to arrive at the shop. Oddly enough, Shikamaru was standing against the closed store, leaning against the window.
“I was hoping you would appear,” Shikamaru stated with a small smile. He gave Ino a gentle kiss as part of his greeting, even if it was only momentary.
“Won’t Temari be mad?” Ino asked promptly. She saw no reason for Sasuke to be upset over this, she hadn’t expected Shikamaru to show up at the shop.
“She left me for some villager in Suna, said the long-distance wasn’t working for her.” The Nara explained briefly, nodding once.
“So why are you here?” Ino questioned. It wasn’t that she didn’t enjoy seeing her teammate. It was just that it was so… sudden, and of all the times.
“I know I can’t be the man you’re in love with now, the man you married. But I can be the man you felll in love with first. I wish that was enough.” Shikamaru started, eyes locked on Ino.
Ino, for once, stayed silent. There had been an occasion or two where she had wished that was actually enough. But she knew it never could be enough, never would be enough.
“You were always up there with Temari. I always liked you just as much, maybe a little less. I guess… I went with Temari because you stopped showering me with attention when Sasuke came back. You became obsessed with him again. So going with Temari seemed like the smart choice at the time. Well, that didn’t work out as great as expected. You were always up there with Temari, just slightly my second choice. I wish I had fought for you instead. Maybe second is the best, maybe I should have thought it through more. I guess I’m not such a genius when it comes to love.” Shikamaru told her, stepping closer. He leaned in to kiss Ino again. He wanted to taste her again, realize- or convince himself- that this was real, not some dream from when he had dozed off.
Ino turned her head, avoiding the kiss. “I don’t want to be anyone’s second choice,” she whispered, before turning and walking in the direction of her house.
With that, Shikamaru stood there, alone, watching his blonde teammate walk back to her house, walk back to the man he envied, the man he wanted to be. And the only reason he envied Sasuke was because he had the one thing in his life he wanted more than anything at this point: Ino.
