Shall we unroll the couch?
I moved Sunday, a wonderful thing on many fronts. Thanks to my spiteful former roommate, my load was a little lighter than it should have been, but most of the stuff made it out of the old place and into the new. I keep thinking I'm in a hotel, because it's very light and very quiet, and the ceilings are very high. There are air-conditioning units outside our bedroom window, and they kind of sound like the hotel air conditioners, the kind that are on the wall and keep your room frosty cold. Waking up this morning was disorienting. Plus, there's a pool with a crazy attached hot tub. All this for the same price a sheetrock hole the size of a walk-in closet would have cost me in town. Alas, what I don't have is internet. That'll be fixed within the week, hopefully, but until then I'll be patchy. So there's that, but until then I'll be relaxing without my interwebs in comfort...when I'm not putting all the furniture back together.
