The moon is full, the stars are out, the night is clear and cold. Trees are covered with icicles, buildings filled with stalagmites. A freeze has turned the otherwise barren forest into a wintertime marvel. The storm has covered the world with sparkling diamonds. And I’m alone, freezing all my options into panes.
A shattered frame is reckoned within a long ago forgotten picture of us.
Both sides are pasted together, for the original ones never caught us both. And I’m lost inside that frame, the one which proves our love, The one that proves we’re gone and drawn back to each other’s soul The one that proves we sealed the pact with a kiss. The one that proves I’m only content with you, starlit.
And I couldn’t bear the fact I tried to kill us. I can’t believe I almost did...
Don’t let me be so oblivious, I promise I won’t slip the tryst I can’t spawn my wings without your lips, this air is kerosene for me without you breathing near me. I promise I won’t let go off this again...
I love you too much to let you go, I’m not that strong...
