i gave you something
long ago, do you remember?
the moment i saw you
i gave you my trust
i gave you a part of me
a part of my heart
and you took it, cherished it
but only for a time
once you felt done
you ripped those parts into peices,
threw them on the ground,
and stomped on them.
why couldn't you just give them back
why did you have to destroy them
