Summary:
Risa Koizumi (Ema Fujisawa), "little spring," is taller than the average Japanese girl; and Atsushi Otani (Teppei Koike), "big valley," is shorter than the average Japanese boy. Together, they are known as the comedy duo All Hanshin-Kyojin.
Koizumi and Otani both have height complexes and troubles with the opposite sex because of being taller/shorter than them and therefore argue with each other often. However, Koizumi soons begins to fall in love with Otani.
Mustering all her courage, Koizumi confesses to Otani at a festival, only to have her confession treated as a simple joke. And as all romance JMovies will have it, the dense Otani eventually realizes the seriousness of Koizumi's confession and is shocked at that fact.
Later at a class trip, Otani finally gives Koizumi an answer to her confession.
Will they end up continuing as the All Hanshin-Kyojin comedy duo or become lovers?
Review:
-Teppei was adorable, as usual.
-Ema looked like a monkey.
-Maity-sensei was gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. I mean, wtf? "Yoroshi QUEEN"!? Bleh!
-The ending was sweet. Risa went on the show, and Otani yelled "Aho!" at the screen.
-I SQUEAL every time I rewatch the basketball banner scene. "It's tacky. If you had such a tacky banner, you should've brought it out sooner. It fires me up." KYAAAAAAAAA! <33333 TEPPEI/OTANI WAS SO AWESOME SAYING THAT AND SMILING! *Faints*
-Dude, the somewhat-"dunk" Otani did at the last basketball game shot was lame.
-Hahah. "No panties." Nice going, Tanaka Chiharu. You made Suzuki nosebleed again.
-What's up with the wig teacher? He's creepy, but funny. But mostly creepy. xD
-OMG! KAWAAIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TEPPEI/OTANI HAD TO STAND ON HIS HEELS TO KISS RISA! OMGOMGOMG! SOOOOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <33333333333333333333333333333333333
-The narrator's (Maity-sensei) English was hard to understand. Bleh. I wished the subbers subbed his English too. Or maybe even they couldn't understand what the heck he was saying? Lol.
-Kansai DIALECT! WOOT!
-Teppei is love.
-Most of the girls were cute, including Ema (even though she looked like a monkey).
-YESSEH! RISA DIDN'T CRY EVERY OTHER SCENE HERE!
-Everything moved rather fast. And lots of manga scenes were taken out.
-Otani's realization of his love for Risa was rather...abrupt.
