Kyosadou is the capitol city of the Ginsei region.... It was built along the northern bank of the crystal waters of the Jiang Dong River.... It's location was chosen based on it's resources from the river and the nearby Daimoku forest, as well as it's defensive position nestled between the river and the Shumatsu Mountains to the north east.... The city was founded by the two most world renowned warriors Kenshu and Sagaru as a base of operations during the Innen war.... The city has grown immensely ever since and now is ruled by a council led by an elected prime minister.... Though it stands as an architectural marvel, and lies in beautiful peaceful lands, the city is corrupted with politicians of ulterior motives.... Long past are the days of happiness for the common folk.... There is much civil unrest and an uncommon poverty level.... Though the Prime Minister is an honest caring man, the council retains the true power, and the citizens are not first priority.... Regardless, as a whole Kyosadou is quite prosperous and many merchants litter the streets.... At night where as some districts remain bustling, others are completely empty due to criminal activity of bandits and gangsters....
After leaving the hotel and parting ways with his companion, the wanderer in blue began his search.... Being his first time in the city he took his time walking the busy streets in the early evening.... Soon one of the many scattered restaurants caught his eye....
"Cajun.... Huh.... I did want something different...."
For a few moments he could do no more than stand outside the entrance and ponder the option.... Ultimately, unable to discover any other choices he gave in and entered the eatery.... Inside there were few surprises.... The entire place was empty and had no outstanding decorations along with scant furnishings.... Half a dozen aged wooden tables in two rows occupied the room accompanying a bar-like counter with several stools at the back.... Seeing no other people in the shop he simply sat at the bar and knocked on the splintered counter top.... Moments later, an old man emerged from a door way with drawn curtains behind the bar.... His head lacked nearly all his hair which matched his bones that lacked most their meat.... The scrawny fellow had a deep tan and many wrinkles.... The leathery toothpick of a man stepped up to the customer with a gleeful demeanor....
"How do you do today sir?"
"Fine...."
"What can I get you?"
"Something with chicken...."
"Right away sir...."
The cook took off into the back room and quickly whipped up a heart cajun chicken meal.... It was surprisingly tasty and the owner seemed overly glad.... After a couple bites the cook then briskly walked towards the other side of the shop.... With a quick glance in that direction the traveler spotted a peculiar sight.... The customer that had just taken a seat in the farthest table wore very bright colors and had garments that he'd never seen before.... This worried him.... He'd traveled long and far and knew trouble when he was it....
The man in red patted his stomach while he walked down the dusty road in the late evening.... He'd had his fill and was happy to be able to eat real cooking again.... Lately his tastes had been taking a liking to curry and he'd had enough for 3 men.... As he walked he noticed that the streets were becoming less crowded and the sun was close to setting.... Now it was time for some fun.... Soon after he'd spotted a place where his desires could be satisfied.... He grinned as he entered.... After a bit of looking around the man took a sear on the right side of a stage near the front and waited for the show to begin.... Several women came on stage and began dancing in long flowing costumes that were intricate but showy and left little to the imagination.... It was not long until a girl in similar clothing took a seat next to him....
"Hey there cutie.... You look lonely.... How about I keep you company tonight?"
"Okay...."
"Well don't we start off with some refreshments then, hmm?"
"That sounds splendid...."
The woman winked slyly and snuggled up closer as she poored him a drink.... Several drinks and dances later he was feeling good and ready to kick iit up another notch.... It was then that he'd noticed him.... A dark ominous presence too close for comfort that had put a permanent damper on the night.... The man had no outstanding features, but he knew trouble when he saw it....
The view of the city from the mountain peaks is a glorious one.... Under the vibrant light of Fiora two armor clad warriors stand tall at the edge of their encampment on a cliff looking upon the settlement from a distance....
"Doesn't it bother you?"
"What?"
"Knowing that something so grand that you created will fall...."
"Did you want to stop it? That would go against our way...."
"No.... Kenshu and Sagaru will die soon.... It's far past their time...."
"You never liked those names anyways...."
"True.... But I can't help but feel that it's such a waste...."
"Stepping stones are just that Saga, don't worry about it...."
The two put our their camp fire and packed their bags using the moonlight to see.... As both finished up Saga nodded towards his partner before they both disappeared into the shadow..... At that moment a large burly man appeared seemingly out of nowhere at the recently abandoned camp.... His armor was of that none had ever seen.... It composed of many silver plates arranged in a grandiose fashion and many of the pieces were embossed with a crimson and navy trim.... Looking upon the suit could possibly blind some as all of it's parts were brilliantly shining and reflective like a mirror.... The fabulous armor was accompanied by a large sword and shield that were equally as splendid if not more so.... The knight raised his helmet that was nestled between his shoulders.... Resting the helm in the nook of his arm, he took a deep breath of the crisp mountain air.... Long straight strands of hair blew in the breeze.... The warriors mane seemed to be made of pure gold.... He even had a perfectly chiseled face with no visible blemishes or scars anywhere.... At this point any person to gaze upon such a sight would come to the same conclusion.... This was no mere man.... This was a god....
So those are the two who have been challenging my power.... I suppose the least I can do is offer them a challenge of legendary proportions...."
At that he instantly vanished into this air, just as he'd arrived....
