Love in Another language

Listen to the melody of the music,

Her smooth, harmonic voice.

You do not need to know another language,

To know that she is in love.

Her tone rising as if recalling a memory of happiness and wonder,

Her tone falling as if recalling the sadness of heartbreak.

But, you do not need to know another language,

To feel her love through the music.



The Light in the Storm

You think that you know someone...
But then they curse you.

You think that you know someone...
But then they turn thei back on you.

You think that ou know someone...
But then they leave you.

They leave you stranded,
stranded out in the cold, cold rain.

But, what is this?

A light..A warm, comforting light.

There...is a man standing above me in the rain, light shining off of him.

He dries my tears; telling me that everything will be ok.

He tells me his name.

Jesus.

And he'll never leave me.

"My child, you will have good friends and bad friends. Some will stay and some will go. But, my sweet child, I will never leave you or forsake you. You can always count on me."

Those words calmed my aching heart, and now, the sun is out and the rain is gone.

When you are sad and there seems to be no hope in sight..

God is there.

All you have to do is call His name.
