 Miss Cross is ... enthusiastic, to say the least. A little too enthusiastic. But she's loyal and her heart is in the right place.
She wasn't hired the first time she applied to the force. Or the second. Or the third. But she's a stubborn little thing, and really wanted a spot. I think the commander just couldn't turn her down a fourth time, and just stuck her with Payne to keep her out of trouble. I'm not sure that was one of his brightest ideas, but she seemed tickled with it.
Somehow though, I get the funny feeling that there's a little something off about that smile of hers.

Shiilahmaiaa'ah has worked very hard to master her art, yet still maintains the balance that nurtures a life of true joy. Her song and dance are extensions not only of herself, but of the Flame, and her soul radiates with great things. She will go far, and I doubt not the Prophecy that I bestowed upon her hands will see itself played out in her blood. When next we see her, she shall perhaps be a Weaver in her own right, and greater than us all.

 The Commander ... is totally freakin' nuts.
I'm not always sure what we're supposed to be doing here, since most of the time the mission is so hush-hush that all we know is that we're supposed to be "gathering information." No specifics, so we have a lot of down time. Which isn't because the Commander is nutty ... it more just fuels her nuttiness.
It's not bad, really, fighting it out with Mistress Anastasia's Azure Ravens. They like us, we like them, and we mostly just fake it and wait around for the Mistress and the Commander to get into catfights, which is pretty hot.
But back to the Commander. She's pretty good to work for. Nice to look at, asks us about our kids and whatever if we have 'em, makes sure we're all taken care of. Bit of a mother hen. Doesn't keep her from being crazy, though.

Isabella Priest
 Bella is such a sweetheart! She's so good about fillin' in fer me when a gentleman wants me on 'is arm, and she'd do just about anythin' for anybody. Give ya' her last coin if ya' needed it.
She's always been a hard worker. Her Pa runned off years ago, and when her Mama got sick, Bella was the one what took care of 'er. Real sad when she died ... Bella was real strong though. Moved on into the inn when the house was sold to pay the debts and just kept workin'.
Never got over Zed leavin' town without 'er, either. She sure forgave him right quick when 'e showed up with a gang o' marauders and made off with 'er! I'm pretty sure I saw rings on them fingers when they came back to get 'er things, but she didn't say nothin' about it. All I know is that I don't know what happened with them two, but she sure don't come around no more.

Dodiandra Jenkins
 Dodi is a little bit of a lost soul, I think. She's finding herself slowly, and adjusting to the direction her life has taken, and I think it's very much for the better.
I suppose it's because she never expected to be immortal. She didn't understand it and didn't adjust well. The things she's told me about her first few centuries would have broken a lesser woman, but Dodi is uncommonly strong-minded. It's good for her to be around other immortals, though. She's developed a terrible fear of losing the people she loves. It's also good for her to be with the indestructible Cav. He's a little rough around the edges, but she's polishing him up as much as he's unwittingly teaching her to care again.

  The General was always a hard woman. Fair, but hard. It was always difficult to tell what, exactly, she was thinking, but the look on her face made you sure that the wheels were always turning.
Pity her health turned so fast. The army lost a brilliant mind that day.

Niobe Swan was once the General of the Qui Lin Army, fighting Oni and other houses for over 15 years. When she became pregnant from an affair she had during one of her rare bouts of off time, she left the army, citing a need to visit the elven half of her family in the mountains for her health before the pregnancy was discovered. She lost the child soon afterward, and chose to do some traveling in order to clear her head and see a bit more of the countryside when it wasn't under attack.

 Astrid has always been an odd one ... interested in the sky to the point of obsession, and prone to disappearing at odd times.

Astrid is one of the Aolian Elves, a small race of elves native to a single forested seaside valley. After her twin sister died in an accident when they were children, Astrid became an avid stargazer, searching the sky for the star that her twin's soul became.
