Lynn-Chan: ok..now I Re written the whole beggining. Please tell me what you think.
*people walking along a dirty street pause to see a group of soldiers running after a small boy and his cat*
*Kawari runs toward an allyway that leads to his hide-out* *The soldiers are close behind* *Kawari rounds a corner and a hand grabs him on the shoulder*
Kawari: Woah!?! *looks up to see an old man* Ji-chan!?
Ji-Chan: Quick Kawari, get behind here * shoves him behind a booth* *soldiers run past*
Ji- Chan: Heh heh heh, that was a close'n this time, for shor, eh, Kawari?
Kawari: Yeah, thanks Ji-Chan...*looks at Kita* Kita says thanks too *grins*
Kita: *meows*
Ji-Chan: Heh heh heh, you two are a pair, alright...*turns serious* but you should be more carefull, eh?...next time I might not be close enough to help you...
Kawari: I know, I know...
Ji-Chan: Eh, just betweens you and me *scratches chin and leans closer to Kawari* how do you do it anyways, eh? You know, steal the gold from one so far from you, Eh?
Kawari: *grins wide* Kita.
Ji-Chan: Eh? The cat?! *looks at Kita and laughs* one smart cat, if I ever see'd one *laughs again* well, I think that you can get to your hidy-hole now....good luck, eh?...
Kawari: Ok, Thanks again Ji-Chan *runs off with Kita close behind*
*At Kawari's Hide-out*
*Kawari colapses on his straw bed in the corner and breathes a sigh of relief* *Kita curls up next to him*
Kawari: Whew, that was a close one...right kita?
Kita *looks up at him and yawns*
Kawari: Hehe, yeah, I guess you are right. *starts to pet her* But it was worth it...Now we can eat for a week. If we are careful, that is...
*Starts to think about the events of the day*
*Flash Back*
*On the street people are hurrying to their destinations. Some pause to see a group standing and watching a boy with a cat*
Kawari: Now watch closely as I make this man's watch dissapear. *pulls cloth out of nowhere, places it over watch in his hand and pulls cloth quickly away making the watch dissapear* *croud gasps*
Man #1: MY WATCH!?!?!
Kawari: Don't worry, Now watch closely as I bring it back! *Pulls out a different cloth from pocket and opens it up to show the watch* Is this your watch
Man #1: *looks at watch closely* It looks like it. But then again, so do many others. If it is my watch then it should have an inscription inside.
Kawari: *Opens watch* You mean this one? *Shows man*
Man #1: Yes, It is my watch! *croud claps*
Kawari: Thank you, now if you wish to show your appreciation, please leave a small contribution in the cup before you. *smiles wide as some people drop coins in the cup.*
*One man walks away without giving anything and steps up to a vendor farther down* *reaches to get some coins out to buy something*
Man #2: Huh? *pulls out his empty hand* Where is my coins? *Looks back toward Kawari and points finger* HEY!!! YOU STOLE MY COINS!!!
Kawari: Uh oh...Run Kita!! *takes off for a nearby ally with Kita (the cat) in tow as man starts calling for the guards*
*End Flash Back*
*kawari grins*
Kawari: It was worth it..*looks back at Kita* If it wasn't for you...We would not get to eat as often...well, we will lay low for a little while...*rolls over and starts to fall asleep* They will forget all about us soon enough...
Lynn-Chan: Well, this is the end of the first part. I will start on the storyline for part 2 which will introduce new characters. Thanks for reading.
