Appearance::Hyaku tends to not wear any form of shirt or shoes, commonly the only clothing you would find on Hyaku is a pair of baggy black silk pants held by a silver waistband. Beset with jet black hair that comes to the bottom of his chin, thinly dreaded with ivory beads at one inch intervals(However Hyaku shaved his head bald in memory of Kuroha's death, the memory of Kuntan, his uncle, that arose shortly after the death of his friend was what spurred the idea.). On his left side stretch three long jagged scars that wrap around to rest upon his back, crossing these is a newly added scar described in the weapon section. Tattooed with a black snake coiling around his right forearm and coming to lay on his breast. Around his left eye and stretching down the bridge of his nose and cheek, is an odd purely black, like the snake, tattoo. With a well toned body Hyaku strikes a formidable appearance.
History/Personality ::Hyaku was born to an Egyptian mother, and a Native father(his son from an Egyptian mother as well). Being sent at the young age of seven to be trained by his uncle in the ways of battle, due to the death of his parents. His uncle teaching Hyaku until the unfortunate day of his death, by the hands of hyaku. Hyaku was mortified once reverted to human form to find the mutilated body of his mentor, and vowed never to use his ultimate form unless absolutely necessary. Since then he's lead a relatively quiet life with his family, taking on mercenary missions when in need of money, until the day of his wifes death. When reading in a letter sent home from his son at the Juliano Manse of an upcoming tournament, he felt compelled to enter(having no other family on this planet apart from his son), deciding that he'd stay at the manse so long as Onyx continues to call it home.
Favorite meal::Hyaku's favorite dish goes by the name of Saniyit Kufta, although as it cooks he enjoys drinking an entire jug of Raspberry Mint Cairo Cooler, finishing the meal with a mango cup dessert.

Weapons::
> Dagger- An ordinary dagger, designed with a six inch blade, and steel knuckles (topped with 1/2 inch spikes) protruding from the Ivory handle. Hyaku wears this dagger strapped to the back of his waistband.

This Wakizashi, Yasetsu, given to Hyaku from Kuroha, a mighty samurai, after an intense battle, in the Crimson Snow Tournament '07, that almost led to the death of both parties. As said above, when Hyaku channels the power that allows him to control shadows into the short blade of 20", It changes into the legendary Eiji of a full 41", the blade being two and a half Shaku, the handle being, nearly a foot, 11".
Yasetsu is to be found, worn proudly on his left hip, right below a long scar that stretches diagonally from his breast down to his buttocks, caused by Kuroha.
You see, It is believed that when a sword if forged, an existence manifests itself within the blade. This manifestation not previously being something else, but the sword itself, a raw manifestation in it's most primal form, an entirely knew being bound within it's created body. This sentience is nothing however to that of a human soul, that lives for eternity shifting from one vessel to the next until the end of all existence(unlike this being that is eradicated upon the decimation of the blade), the form of being that is created through the act of forging is derived directly from the earth, then given sentience through the melting and shaping. In ancient times, when guns where a thought not yet thought up and swords being used for multiple, and large spread purposes, the sword makers would give extensive and delicate work and care to each and every individual aspect until it was fit for use. This loving manner was the prime function that created such "spirits".
Hyaku's blade, Eiji, has grown to incredible strengths through the thousands of years upon this planet, thus giving it the ability to act through the blade. This ability however is only manifestable once a bond has been formed between user and blade-spirit. Such a bond was formed as Hyaku, first handedly, witnessed the shifting of Yasetsu into Eiji[For fully viewable reference upon this incident see page 19165 in the BA.]. The particular ability of Eiji is that upon being touched without permission((Being hit with the blade not counting, but actual grabbing of the sword with intent of taking it away from Hyaku, whether for a second or for all eternity.)),or by a creature/person with evil intents((This one activates whether the person has been given permission or not)) It lashes out psionically, spiritually, and physically, as explained below. [Note: all three happen at the same time]
> Psionically(mentally)-A wave of psionic energy is blasted through the person to come in contact with their mind, upon immediate contact it scrambles the persons cerebellum((Part of the brain that memorizes, or creates a data bank of optimal mechanical schemes also called "memories of work" wink ) and forces the hand/fingers to release a hold of the sword.
> Spiritually-An unseen "aura", due to lack of proper words at the moment, strikes back at the aura of the person in a hostile manner that "absorbs" a fraction of their energy. This can be used in a manner of ways, but only one of which can be used per absorption; analysis of persons aura(thus promoting to the ability to bypass certain abilities. Ex. Kuroha's aura purge), transfer(the energy being transfered through the handle to Hyaku for purposes such as; minor rejuvenation[less fatigue], healing of a wound, or abilities of victim for two turns.).
> Physically-A black, razor-sharp, tentacle extends outward to lash the opponent, this attack for two purposes, 1. To cause the nerve endings to send a message to the brain of pain, which in most creatures/people would would react by releasing their grip. 2. Obviously to harm the user in some way (XD, basically same as above.)
Character abilities::Over several years Hyaku has been delving into an "odd" form of magic and recently managed to have a slight break through. He has gained the ability to "control" shockwaves, and soundwaves. Although none of these abilities are refined, they still happen to be usable, occasionally with unintended effects.
Shadow Abilities::
> The Dark Flame-This not necessarily being an actual ability, but more of a passive benefit. Hyaku gains a minor resistancy against cold and cold related damage/attacks. The Dark Flame was bestowed upon Hyaku through his uncle, him being the previous owner. The Dark Flame cannot be taken through force or death, but must be given. This is what allows Hyaku to use the powers he uses (Every turn in battle the Dark Flame generates one charge point, these charge points are used as notified below. When charge points are used another point cannot be generated during that turn.).
> Manipulate Shadows- Self explanatory. No points used, due to this being a passive ability as temperature resistance.
> Form Shadows- Used as the basis for many techniques. Hyaku turns the shadows corporeal. [Difference between this and shadow blades v.1; When using the technique "Shadow Blades" Hyaku can only create blades(cant create other shapes) and can only be created when they are in is hands. This technique allows Hyaku to create any shape and whether it is being formed in his hand does not matter. Ex. He can coat a wall in shadow, or use an already coated wall, and form corporeal spikes.]. Uses varying amounts of points depending upon amount of shadows turning corporeal. (1=small, 2=medium, 3=large, 4=larger, 5=massive.)
> Shadow Flames- Self explanatory, 1 1/2 times more painful and corrosive than standard fire. 1 point for a small flame(candle flame), 2 for a medium(basketball size), 3 for a large(5 ft. by 5 ft.), 4 for a giant(10 ft by 10 ft.), etc... These flames carry a property that can dispel certain energies that are derived through any means of aura, although this can only be enacted if it is of equal or greater charges.
> Shadow Blades- This form of shadow blade is created from the manipulation of shadows into the shape of the desired weapon, and then turned corporeal. Takes 0 charges to create and/or shape(However Hyaku doesn't generate another point in the same turn).
> Shadow Blades V.II- In this version Hyaku turns his own flesh into corporeal shadow, although he can only change from his elbows down. Takes one charge to create and/or shape. Can delay transformation for an unlimited ammount of time, each turn allowing for a larger a amount of shadow created from his cellular structure.
> Shadow Clone- In this particular technique Hyaku turns his own shadow into a clone. This clone being quuasi-real is diminished through magic attacks, melee attacks doing slightly more damage than they normally would. Takes two charges and one full turn to form.
> Shadow Cannon- A technique that can only be used in form four. A sphere the size of a bowling ball is formed from black energy derived from Hyaku's surroundings and Hyaku himself. This ball is then swallowed in order to be shot like a cannon at will. Takes two charges and one full turn to form.
> Dark Discs- Razor sharp disks two inches in diameter that can be shot from either his hands of his sword(Eiji-only). Cost: 1/4 points.
> Arch Wind- A technique that can only be used through Eiji. By swinging the blade in the direction of the opponent a "Discharge" of a sort flies in the swung direction. The crescent blade/discharge like object is quasi-real thus it can be blocked by anything that has magic eliminating properties. However it the person hasn't such an item the must either be hit with it or dodge in some way or form. Takes a half a point.
> Pudding- By tossing a large puddle of shadow that sticks to the thrown surface the "Pudding" then acts accordingly on it's own(However Hyaku can chose before throwing it whether he'll grant it a "sentient" being or not) will, meaning tentacles will shoot outwards and try to lash and or hold the opponent when the come near. Takes one and a half points.
Alternate forms-
> Shadow Form- A paper thin layer of shadows(opacity 10%) cover Hyaku. These shadows being as thin are meant for a more defensive use, prohibiting version two shadow blades. The defensive uses are as follows; slightly reduces pain and damage intake, and improves blood clotting capability.
> Shadow Form V.II- A thicker layer of shadows develops(opacity 30%). These shadows become highly manipulatable and allow for version two shadow blades to be used through any part of his body.
> Shadow Form V.III- Hyaku begins to take up a more feral appearance(opacity 50%), hunched over with pointy ears and small claws on his hands. In this form Hyaku loses all ability to form shadow blades of either kind, although a dramatic increase in strength takes place.
> Shadow Form V.IV- By now one would not think that this creature could ever have been Hyaku. Taking on the full appearance of a pitch-black fox demon, hunched over on four legs with massive six inch claws in place of what used to be fingers and toes, an elongated snout and long animal-like ears, and in place of where a tail would be are thirteen five-foot long thin tail-like appendages, each tipped with three inch barbs. This form, along with the previous, is meant to be used for melee fighting with personal natural weapons(claws, teeth, tails, etc...). Form abilities;slight increase in speed, able to create two shadow clones, and mass manipulation similar to form two but with a minor difference(can only create spikes along the body). Note: unable to use version one shadow blades.
> Ultimate Form- A form that has only been used once before, preferring to not acknowledge its existence. Apparently upon use an intense pain engulfs the entire body, thus making it a technique that only the hardy can bear to perform. Not much is known about this form due to the fact that the only person to have witnessed it was killed shortly after. Along with the downside that when it is used Hyaku's primal instincts take over and his mind goes into a state similar to unconsciousness, thus making himself a danger to all around him, including family and/or friends.
Form Rules
Progression-Form one= upon will, Form two= three charges but must wait at least two turns after changing into previous to change form, Form three= six charges but must wait at lest three turns to change, Form four= ten charges but must wait at least four turns to change, Ultimate form= fifteen charges and five turn wait(although likely not to be used).
Energy Use-If form three or higher is accomplished, Hyaku becomes unconscious once reverted back to human form.

Appearance::Onyx is typically found wearing baggy black pants(similair to the lovely genie black embroidered harem pants), no shirt or shoes, black gloves, and a black zoot suit tapa. On his chest, arms, and back is a striking black tribal tattoo that appears to move when looked at. With naturally silver hair, Onyx takes on a remarkably exotic appearance.
Personality::Upon a quick glance one would think Onyx to be nothing more than a silent and resolved young man. Although this observation is partly correct, it is only a brief analysis made by the casual observer. Onyx tends to spend most of his time listening to the calm sounds of nature while exploring the deep recesses of his mind. When one gets to know Onyx they quickly learn that a broad and charismatic personality lies on this talkative boy. Despite being quick to have a laugh Onyx is not timid or playful when combat is the only recourse.

> Mind blade- Throughout 17 years of exploring his mind, Onyx has come across the ability to form a semisolid blade composed of psychic energy distilled from his own mind. The blade can be changed in shape and size by the amount of psychic energy Onyx feeds into his hand. This blade can be broken;however he can simply reform another during his next turn. The moment he relinquishes his grip on his blade, it dissipates, unless intended to be thrown. This blade cannot be willed away by another person, object, or ability on account that it is formed directly from Onyx's mind instead of through a medium.
> Swifting- Onyx has perfected a technique that he has come to calling, Swifting. Swifting is the act of willing one's body to become less effected by gravity through psychic discipline. As a result gravity has a looser hold on Onyx, yet still remaining.
> Nega-Swifting- Literally the exact opposite of swifting(see above), although the target is not restricted to the caster(meaning:it can be used on someone else, instead of the caster). For this to take effect a 1-25 must be rolled on a D%, if rolled it takes effect for d4 turns.
> Psyche-skin- Through years of tampering with the powers and limits of the mind Onyx's skin has become afflicted in a most intriguing way, it's seemed to have taken on a psychic trait. When attacked with anything that has magical properties(Ex:spells, magic weapons, etc...) the attack is reflected in the direction of the caster(On [enchanted]weapons: Any magical properties that have been applied to a weapon have zero effect on Onyx. Ex: The flames of a flaming sword are extinguished for as long as the blade is in contact with his skin.).

Bio::As a young child Jake was abandoned at an orphanage in Italy. At the age of eleven he escaped for the umpteenth time and made his way to the manse in an attempt to "change his life". This ended up as the result, being adopted by Hyaku.
