On our sreet there are loads of huge trees, and all of their leaves came off a while ago. We had huuuuge leaf drifts all in our garden and driveway. But instead of getting rid of them when they were nice and crispy and easy to pick up, my dad waited until after two really damp days to clean them away. And he also waited until it was cold and dark AND WET to clean them away. I had to stand outside, oh the horror, and hold a binliner gonk It was terrible.....
