Can't believe I haven't written about results day yet, it was 2 weeks ago! I got A*BB :D The A* was in biology. From the sounds of things, quite a lot of people in our biology class got A*s, I bet mrs gilbank was so proud and pleased c:
I wasn't really sure how to feel about the results. I've concluded that they're better than I thought I'd do but not as good as I'd like to do :/ Ellie and charlie both got in to cambridge, alex got in to med school and generally people seem to have done really well. Pre results day...went to town to watch a film but the queue was too long so we went back home......then ellie and I ambushed charlie and we went to a pub the charlie said was in headingley, but was actually in hyde park/burley. Tsk tsk. Then we went back to ellie's and watched aladin and kidnapped charlie! >D In the morning we went off to get our results, after eating poached egg, and...well, I've already written about what happened then.
I went out in the evening for a pretty feeble celebration.....nothing exciting happened, other than maybe being dragged off by someone who I vaguely know, but then wriggling free and going home.
And now....I don't know what. I need to go on the prowl for a job I think, go into sixth form and get a bit of advice concerning resits and applying for uni....hm. Beh. Travelling sounds too fun and amazing for me to do. I need to be in leeds for resits and my psychotherapy, which will go on for a while and I don't know when it will start.
Last weekend I went to leeds fest. It was good fun. I spent time with some nice people, listened to bands I've never heard and (for the most part) will never hear again, but nevermind. Erm......There was a food place that did earl grey tea =u= Every cup of tea I purchased was from that place. It was really muddy too! On the friday it rained and rained and rained. The ground was completely wrecked by all the footfall, and didn't really recover until sunday. We saw a lone shoe completely covered in mud, swimming around in the mud. It was a sorry sight. I didn't mind the toilets. I didn't mind having filthy hair, though there were showers which I didn't know about. I'd like to do it all again next year.....or maybe I could choose some cheaper festivals.
