Is hard to get credits there, you can earn 50 credits each day if you visit the new items section, there is a freespin game where you can earn about 500 credits per week, other game treasure hunter is very dificult to win but you can earn a good cantity of money.
In the forums there are outfits contest and developer contest where you can earn some credits.
Inviting some friends you earn 500 for the join, 500 in the first chat and 500 in the 5th chat.
There is some quest for earn credits and items.
The bad things: The program is so heavy and needs a good computer and a lot of time.
-some people spent a lot of money for buying clothes for their avatars.
There is a lot of people asking for adult things and this can be annoying.
The best solution is speak only with your friends, or searching people with your same hobbies, and not using the random chat.
It can be frustrating and boring if you cannot have the items that you want and is very different of pages based in rolgame. is less dinamic your avatar is just a doll that can be dressed and move.
This is the reason that I prefer Zantarni and Gaia Online for play, is totally free, more funny, more games, events , and better people!
I use imvu only because I love to develop and create things ^_^ and some times I chat for improve my english.

There are differents kind of developers, the admins that make the program, the people that develop 3d items , and the normal people like me that edit the products in the catalog and make new textures.
