I heard a story yesterday that gave me chills. It's very sad, true, and beautiful. My uncle had a friend named John whose wife is from Holland. One day when it was raining, he and his wife had a motorcycle accident. John was severly injured, but still able to do his job as a chef. Well they had a second run of bad luck. One day, the wife was cleaning ducks (you know plucking the feathers and all that, then hanging it.) and her finger got stuck with one of the hooks. The hool eneded up getting ripped out of her hand, leaving her unable to work. The last run of bad luck is the saddest. Another rainy night and John's wife is driving. He had just gotten off work and it was raining pretty bad. This guy cut them off, so a while later the wife switches lanes and pulls in front of the man. In a fit of rage, the man starts chasing them causing the wife to panic. John tells her to let him drive, but she won't. So this continues on for a while until the man cut them off for the last time, causing her to loose control. John, seeing them heading for a possible fatal crash (for his wife anyway), unbuckles his seatbelt and throws himself over her saving her life. Sadly, John lost his life when the steering wheel cut his head off. When the police found the scene, John's wife was trapped under his body (thankfully unconcious). Now they are searching for the man who caused the wreck. This story gace me hope for love. Please pass this saad, but true story along. I hope it touches you as much as it did me.
