Thus far, today's been uneventful. Yesterday was a blur of trying to get myself registered and working on Jane Austen readings for a presentation I have to do on Tuesday. I hate Jane Austen, but it'll all be over soon.
Yesterday was a bit of a learning experience. The hermit crabs love peanut butter but appear ambivalent at best to fresh produce. Typical kids: all they want to eat is junk food! razz I'm going to keep trying to tempt them with all kinds of yummy things that are good for them and save the PB for a special treat.
I also found out that another friend of mine is getting engaged! Over the past 12 months, this brings people I know getting married up to seven, and I can add one more for already married. I've been with Kris for a while now, and I really wish that we could talk about this sort of thing together but he's just not ready. I am. I'd say yes if he asked me today.
So far today I've managed to do my yoga (two consecutive days! Wow!), and I've set up a guild for running a writing contest. Hopefully, I'll get to launch on Saturday if I have enough interested participants (I want a minimum of ten). Beyond that, I haven't done anything productive. I need to do more readings soon, do some laundry, strip the bed and empty the garbage (or rather finish emptying it). Should work out.
Other than that, I'm 11 days from home, and so excited!
