Long forgotten and left by the dwarfs, Ellastarre, an abandoned Dwarf mine rested untouched for many long decades. But it was found again, but not by its makers, for the dwarfs had died out long before. It was founded by the Elves and they took control of it. They actually mined a bit for theirs, to utilize and prosper. Their king Ecelorium had more in store for the mines though. The king made sure to keep their discovery of the mines a secret, even to most of his people. His plans were covert so he only told his most important close subjects of his plans witch involved the elf Ledarinaly and his findings.

One day the elf Ledarinaly was working in the mines and unintentionally discovered an unknown passage. The hidden passage aimed to the west, farther into the Sicarda Mountains. So out of curiosity he followed it alone. Not long after he entered the passage he came upon what seem to be a dead end. Ledarinaly looked around a bit and saw what seemed to be a stone door with dwarfish markings all along it. But it wasn’t exactly a door, or it seemed not to be, for it was only carving in stone. At the very center of the door design was a wide circle carved drawing. The elf suddenly felt a strange urge that he could not explain to lay his hand flat within the circle’s boundaries. So he did. Then suddenly there was a large cracking noise, as if the passage was about to cave in and bury him. But the circle suddenly was pulled into the stone and the door started to open. Startled, he backed away from it a few steps. As the door creaked open, a small light emerged from behind the door and filled the passage, giving the room a soft eerie glow. Rapidly the door stopped opening entirely, leaving only a small gap for entrance. Ledarinaly cautiously stepped toward the door, and once he reached it, he took his time to stick his head through the opened doors to peer into the foreign room. When he was reassured it was safe to enter he walked through the doors cavity into the new consign. Ledarinaly looked around only to see that he was in a small corridor. The sound of people could be heard where Ledarinaly could tell, came from outside of the room. He turned his attention to the diminutive light to find its source. About ten feet across from him, at the top high corner of the room was a hole that was the source of the light and would lead to the voices that he heard. Ledarinaly went and climbed the rocky wall up to the opening. Climbing his way up the rocky wall and squeezing through the hole just barely, he pulled himself onto a cold stone floor. Getting to his feet Ledarinaly Looked around to see that he was in a dark alley of an underground city. He walked out of the alley and into the open street. Looking to his left, Ledarinaly noticed a big crowd of people. It was a market place, or it had seemed to be. Ledarinaly looked all around to take in all of his surroundings. This place looked vaguely familiar to Ledarinaly but for some reason he couldn’t place it. Suddenly it hit him. It was Ceroson, the capitol city of the human kingdom. Ledarinaly instantly realized the importance of his discovery. He had to go strait to the king and report his finding. Quickly he ran back to the opening, squeezed through it and ran through the door, but he stopped suddenly and walked back. He needed to shut it but he didn’t exactly know how too. So simply, he just pushed the door closed and waited to see what happened. The door sealed itself and the circle marking went back to its original place. Satisfied, Ledarinaly ran back through the passage to where he had been mining. Swiftly Ledarinaly left the mines, and traveled many long days to the capitol Vindajmi, to report his finding directly to the king.
