el oh el. I haven't made an entry in this thing in like a year. I'm always on Livejournal so I just never use Gaia's journaling system much.

Lately I've been hanging out in some Japanese speaking/teaching type guilds, when I'm on Gaia anyway... it kind of makes me miss my old translation service again. Akeru never got much business though. I had one chick who always wanted time-consuming manga translations but tipped quite handsomely, and then like a measly three or four other people interested in the name service. (Alongside the translation I was doing a "I'll handwrite your name in Japanese characters" deal hoping it would appeal to Gaia's weeaboo population. *cough*) I'm not cut out for running my own service though, I don't think, lol. I got bored with it really fast. I've thought of opening it up again, but then I feel like a bit of a hypocrite considering all the other unfinished translation projects I've still got sitting around. biggrin ;;; so I should probably finish those first, lol...

in other news, I'm not usually a big fan of the Cash Shop, but oh god I love the Infinity Hat and all the cat macro items. *_* *bled herself dry buying them all off the Marketplace* And I can't wait for the promised gold shop update next week... mmm delicious virtual capitalism! omnomnom
