This weekend was the anual relay for life cancer fund raiser. 12 straight hours of walking around a track. This was my first year participating in the event and i went in with my church group who did a Gilliagan's Island theme. Since all the main cast were already taken, my brother and I went as two members of the "Mosquitos" group that got marooned on the island for one episode. This meant I was wearing hard bottom boots for the 12 hours of walking and let me tell you.... today i'm wiped out. I can still move my fingers and toes which is a good sign but the rest of me is pretty much dead. Still, it was a lot of fun and I might be tempted to go again next year. We'll have to see what happens.
