We did our duke of edin......I can't spell edinbour/edinborogh/edinbourgh ¬_¬
Anyway, we did our expedition a couple of days ago. I thought we were going to fail because lots of stuff (which was no fault of our own) went wrong. But we didn't fail.
The river flooded the stepping stones, and they were the only way over. The farmer put up all the arrows wrong and couldn't be bothered to sort it out Cows and bulls and calves and also horses liked to stand/lie down in front of the stiles, so we had to climb over loads of dry stone walls to get back on track. Farmers also liked to barb off the stiles! It's a public right of way! scream So yeah, that made us take huge detours. The path was overgrown and also barbed off, so we had to climb over loads and loads of dry stone walls AGAIN (we....sort of destroyed a few. By accident. In our defense, we were carrying large rucksacks) Weather was......awful, at some times.
And lots of other stuff happened.....it was all very eventful. Oh! 4laugh There was a peacock (somewhere) and we got feathers!! I do love peacock feathers....
The day after I came home, I didn't go to school because: my dad didn't wake me up because: he didn't know I had school still. So I inadvertently missed the last day of school.....nooooooo, my perfect attendance record!!!I wanted to go in because my form tutor always gives out chocolate on the last day of term
Now it's the holidays. I'm going to ireland on tuesday.
