I was in Myrtle Beach with my brother, and I think my dad and his girlfriend, but for some reason we were staying in a hotel, probably on Ocean Blvd. We had walked to some kid themed restaurant for my brother and were seated when I decided I had to use the restroom. I got up and went, and I was already mad about having to eat at this place. I was acting like a teenager for some reason. It took forever to find the restoom, and by that time I was really mad. When I actually got in there to find that one toilet was full of bottles of Crystal Light and someone had just taken the other stall, I had had enough. I stormed out to tell my dad that I was going to walk back to the hotel and use the restroom there. He said, "Ok," and gave me a key. Not a card key, but an actual key on a key ring. Also, why didn't I have a key already? My brother and I must have been quite a bit younger than we are now in this dream. So anyway, I left the restaurant. Then, I was on a road with woods on one side and a grassy field on the other. There was no sidewalk, and I was running in the middle of the road. Somehow, the bit of Ocean Blvd between the restaurant and the hotel was just inside North Korea. People drove through it often, but since I was on foot, I had to run with my head down and hope I wasn't seen. The road was covered with newspapers, in English, talking about how great the North Korean government is and how great it was to live there and whatnot, and I was trying to read it while I ran so I would know what to say if I was caught. My running turned into dream running, painfully slow no matter how much I try to speed up. I felt like I would be caught any minute. Suddenly, I was near the hotel and no longer in North Korea. I was so glad to be out of that ordeal, and I had pretty much forgotten about how much I disliked the restaurant. Then, I woke up. I think the moral of this dream is that bratty teens should be sent to North Korea. Or something.

So anyway. I'm actually at my dad and his girlfriend's house, which is in a town just outside Myrtle Beach. That's why it was so odd that we were staying at a hotel in the dream. I started scoring Threadless submissions again, and I bought "Threadless" for $5 and caught "Stabby McKnife" on the Thriftee page. I think I was avoiding it because I didn't want to be tempted by all the shirts. Actually, my mother just bought a new computer. I'm using the new one, because it's good enough to play the Sims 2, and my brother is using the old one. It has Vista, but I've been using it on dad's girlfriend's computer and I've gotten a bit used to it. I still want to kill it, though. On Thursday night, I played the Sims 2 on high graphic settings. Without red walls. It was amazing. Zinnia Gutierrez is actually a bit, er, homlier than she seemed to be on low settings, but she'll probably grow into it. Carmen's not too bad, but I could put better make-up on her now that it will actually look like make-up instead of small squares of color on her face. Chandler is actually better looking now. I can't wait to see Tanith Scott! I bet that custom alien skin looks great on high settings.
