You know, writing in a journal, is kind of like talking to yourself. Infact it would be talking to yourself, if this weren't an online journal. So instead I am typing to myself. How odd is that? Does that make me mentally unstable, because people assume that about those who do actually speak to themselves aloud.
I also don't understand why people assume that those of us who are in counselling/therapy, whatever you want to call it, are "crazy". It's stupid because, wether or not people will admitt it, everyone has problems in there life. Everyone is a bit crazy. I think that the people who get help for their problems, are stronger for having the courage to face it, and to get over it. Sure it's with the help of another person. Another person who may have the knowledge you don't. Who might be able to help you realize things you could not figure out on your own, and perhaps even come up with coping strategies that most people would never even think of. Everyone thinks it's so easy to get over things, and that some of us blow our issues way out of proportion but, everyone's idea of a crisis is different. Everyone has different values, therefor somethings will effect some people more than others, or maybe not even at all. I hate when people make comments about how stupid other people's issues, or fears are. It may seem easy to them, but to me getting over my issues is a lot harder than anyone could imagine. But I'm doing it, I'm getting better, no it isn't easy, no it isn't stupid, and I'm definately not crazy.
