Thought space : D
A space for my thoughts, regardless of how random they are.
The end of Summer...

Alas, such a sad event, the end of another summer and the beginning of another dreadful school year.
My summer was actually surprisingly eventful, in the best possible way.
I was able to go to camp with one of my closest friends, and despite the heat and the bugs, I think we had a blast.
I was also able to attend the most amazing conference of my life,
also known as EFY.
I was able to learn to appreciate what I have,
and strengthen my faith in the gospel.
I probably cried there the most out of all my summer.
But it was crying from the strong spirit I was able to feel
by being surrounded by tons of people who shared the same beliefs as I do.
I also now know how much my Heavenly Father loves me,
and that without Jesus Christ's sacrifice, I wouldn't be able to live with him again.
I'm also so glad to know that I will be able to live my family forever in God's kingdom if I follow his commandments and live righteously.
Even though I know I'm not perfect,
I really want to strive now to be a better person and make my Father in Heaven happy.
I'm glad that we have a living prophet on the Earth today who is able to share with us the things that we need to stay steady and sure,
and hold on to the iron rod that will lead us back again.
I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus so much, and I'm glad he prepared a way for all of his us to go back to him,
so that one day, we'll be able to see him, arms outstretched, welcoming us back.
I'm glad I was able to go to EFY, it definitely changed my life in a good way,
and I hope I'll be able to go back for years to come.
After EFY, I attended another conference, but it was only for two days.
I still had fun there, but it didn't compare to my experiences at EFY.
Then, from Aug. 8-10, I traveled up to Baltimore for Otakon,
the second biggest con in the US!
I went with my family and Megan, and we of course had a blast.
Though, I think Otakon's waaayy too big for me, and I'll just be sticking to home cons from now on.
I cosplayed as Kaoru Hitachiin from Ouran Host Club,
And Megan was Mello and Matt from Death Note.
Again, we had a lot of fun :3
After Otakon, it all went downhill(sorta) and marching band started.
Over the summer, I've been able to start writing again,
and have a small story going,
and I've also been able to get some roleplaying in x3
-dorkdorkdork-
My drawing has steadily improved,
but I wish I could say the same for my handwriting .___.;
Alas, tomorrow I start my Sophmore year,
and I hope it brings me good fortune and nothing goes terribly wrong. <3
Much love,

Ah, yes. That week-long post-camp high.
I'm appalled to admit crying for the first time for similar reasons this summer. Of course, there's kind of a difference when most of it's in Spanish...

In any case, how do you respond to journal comments? The best thing I can think of doing is responding to one of /your/ entries. So hopefully you get the comment PMs or something. 'cause this is old...

AMG, yes. Amazingness. <33
That's what she said.
In my pants.
In my bed.
In my salad.

Heh, thanks. I believe that I write much better than I speak so...a journal was a good outlet. Plus, I can give everyone the answers to everything and they'll never know it. Not even if you were ultra-perceptive, I don't think...-wins prize for Most Enigmatic-
