I received a letter from my kid sister the other day. She said that my best friend, Doriyan, has returned from his big interdemensional quest he went on three years ago. I have been wondering what that Half-Elf has been up to; maybe I'll go back home and we can catch up on our respective goings-on. I wonder if he'd want to spar, like we did in the good old days. He might be stronger than a berserk owlbear, but his swordsmanship is no match for my Shoxx-style Ninjutsu!

I spoke with my housemate Gryphen, and she said she'd watch our pad until I returned. I'm gonna go pack some essentials, and I'll be on my way!
