Ba...dum. this is the sound of her heart Ba...dum. this muscle that tries Ba...dum. tries Ba...dum. tries Ba...dum. to beat properly Ba...dum. but it cannot Ba...dum. it lurches Ba...dum. beats erratically Ba...dum. fails at being a heart Ba...dum. this heart that is full of Ba...dum. stitches and oozing wounds Ba...dum. it is hardly in one piece Ba...dum. and yet Ba...dum. it keeps trying Ba...dum. through everything Ba...dum. this heart that was retrieved Ba...dum. revived Ba...dum. salvaged Ba...dum. from the darkest corner of the world Ba...dum. it is hardly a heart Ba...dum. it still fights Ba...dum. beats Ba...dum. lives Ba...dum. and loves Ba...dum. you might be thinking Ba...dum. wondering Ba...dum. about this same girl Ba...dum. who had that Ba...dum. perfect, metal, bionic 'heart' Ba...dum. what changed? Ba...dum. it started, again, in september Ba...dum. this girl, she couldn't feel Ba...dum. anything Ba...dum. no joy Ba...dum. nor sadness Ba...dum. nor anger Ba...dum. and she wondered what Ba...dum. it was like Ba...dum. to feel Ba...dum. for she had forgotten Ba...dum. completely Ba...dum. so she searched Ba...dum. looked Ba...dum. delved into the most horrid, awful, terrible places Ba...dum. to find what she still calls Ba...dum. her heart Ba...dum. she found it, of course Ba...dum. and returned to the doctors Ba...dum. who had replaced her heart Ba...dum. 'please' Ba...dum. she said Ba...dum. 'please, put this back' Ba...dum. the doctors, however reluctant Ba...dum. removed the lovely, working 'heart' Ba...dum. and placed the butchered Ba...dum. disfigured Ba...dum. maimed heart Ba...dum. inside of her Ba...dum. immediately, she shrieked Ba...dum. for the removal of the heart Ba...dum. but the doctors refused Ba...dum. 'you' Ba...dum. they said Ba...dum. 'you, my dear, made your choice' Ba...dum. and as they walked away Ba...dum. the girl slowly curled around herself Ba...dum. and cried. Ba...dum. 	You wrote, "you made you choice" instead of "your." Oh if only the heart had a bioinc switch at times, that would perfect. >< These poems are always so cool. They're so unique. They seem long because of the repetition but they actually aren't.
