Lurkers

It was the strangest thing ever. I was sitting at home and I saw something run past my door. I am alone, no one is home but me. I look down the hall, nothing. I check every room and every closet and still no sign of this shadow figure. Then, suddenly, I saw him or it rather. He was a shadow life form of some sort. It turned and walked straight through the wall, but it left a portal open. You can probably guess what I did, and it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do. They say curiosity killed the cat, glad I'm not a cat.
I need character names.
Main Character - Young man between 18-21. He lives with his parents and is in college in an art major.
Main Character's Little Sister - Is 2-5 years younger than the main character. Adores her older brother but sometimes perposly annoy him.
The Lurkers - They are Lurkers but they do have a leader and thier own language.
Writer's block sucks.
