I’ll never forget that bloody afternoon, when “it” happened, “it” was on the radios and television sets everywhere throughout the world. “We have reports of a huge storm coming from the west coast, it’s going to hit Florida within the hour, all residents must evacuate immediately!” came the newsman over every radio and television in the entire state. Slowly I rose from my chair to the rumble outside my shaky house, toward the sea I saw “it” rising slightly over what seemed to be the edge of the world. Citizens were sprinting in and out of the barricade of cars in a terrified motion, attempting to escape “it”.
I as foolish as any other mortal just motioned toward the docks to find what “it” even was, if anything at all, for a half-hour I waited on the docks, hoping that I could see “it”. As the clock on my watch struck 7:35 P.M. “it” showed up, pulling up from the depths of the open sea, towering above any building I’ve ever seen, “it” had two jagged arms with four razor like claws on each hand. The deep blue sea had only risen to “it’s” waist, and out from its mouth, “it” called out in a deep rough voice, “Foolish mortal! How dare you stand before me! I am the one you cruel dirty humans call “it” for I have brought many of your settlements to their knees, behold my power!”
The mighty monster brought one of its huge claws and pointed to the townsfolk and shouted with triumph, “Watch your city burn!” Immediately he pulled his claws into a fist and pulled his hand upward, and explosion then blew the city to pieces shooting blood and deformed body parts into the sky, becoming a rain of blood. “No one is match for me! No one will ever defeat the wraith of my might!”
I fell in despair and hung my head low and began to mummer words, “Give me strength to defeat the evil at hand.” The evil destroyer yelled, “Weak human, you fall and you can’t get back up? Well fine I’ll crush you then!” And at that moment a shaft of light shot through me igniting my eyes with white flames, when the light faded, I was standing with pure white armor and a sword in hand, with a sliver dragon engraved in it. “What did you do?” The mighty beast howled. I shot back, “I am the one that will strike you down, and your rain of bloodshed is over fowl beast!” I then sprung off the dock and up to the beast’s mouth, and whispered calmly, “You know what, evil never seems to prevail.” Immediately, I pulled up my sword, but before I could bring the mighty blade down, evil brought up the claw to block. “You’re smart, for a demon!” As I repeatedly swung my blade at it, the clanging of the sword striking the razor claws could have been herd for miles.
Moments later, one of my blows were successful, “Now demon your time is nigh!” I started to tear through his rock hard skin, which begun to bleed a dark black substance, “Garr! How dare a mortal like you even make a wound on me!” Repeatedly I struck piercing blows causing blood shed yet again. “Let’s go to a suitable environment for the rest of our battle.” It screamed into thin air. The earth begun to shake rapidly opening a fissure in the ground and both me and the beast fell into the ever widening gap in the earth. I saw nothing but black, then eventually I smacked the cold hard ground. “Welcome to my realm! Muwhaha if you wish to fight me, you have to find me!” the evil beast chuckled, and faded away.
