For the longest time I have been curious as to what would happen to a homosexual when the Lord Jesus Christ comes and whisks away the believers and when they are judged for the sins and all that they have done at the end of time I have been asked by a few of the above said people what does the bible say about it, and I also wondered how to stay my doubt in my own salvation because of the sins I knowingly commit every day. I always thought how could the lord our God despise and damn one of his own children because of the thing called love flowing within them. Isn't it preached that love is of God and not of Earth? So today I acquired a book by Dr. Jack Van Impe on biblical prophecy, it went in to explain bits of scripture concerning the white throne judgments which occur after the rebellion at the end of the Thousand Year Kingdom ruled by Christ. Revelation 21:8 and 22:15 describe those that cannot enter heaven.
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone which is the second death... for without [outside of heaven] are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murders, and idolaters, and whosever loveth and maketh a lie."
This is just the basic revelation truth in the bible. I went on and discovered the verse that explains the fact that those who are homosexual are also condemned to Hell.Romans 1:18-28 explain in full the damnation of Homosexuals. But I will only quote 26 - 28.
"Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done."
But my confusion lies in the fact that I am a natural doubter, always doubting everything I hear and yet believing it all at the same time. My mind just cannot wrap around the fact that all but one sin is forgivable. I read and realized once you believe and you accept the Lord God as your savior you are kept from the bowls of Hell. You can never get your salvation taken away from you. If you live a life that is not fullfilled in Christ all you live without in heaven is the rewards of being a faithful servant. That and you be even more ashamed to be in the presence of the most high once the Seven Years of Tribulation end after the rapture and before the Millenial Kingdom.Only one sin can keep you out of heaven and that is the sin where you do not take Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and acknowledge that God is the God of Israel and the father of The Christ the one pure sacrifice that can cleanse us of our sins so that we may live forever with our god. It also says that not one sin can keep you from heaven (that isn't the one stated above.) First John 2:28 says,
"And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming."
This next bit is quoted from Dr. Jack Van Impe's book
" Those who are ashamed have done something wrong --- but they are still there. They went at the Rapture but did not have an abundant entrance. Scripture indicates there is more than one way to enter "The Abundant way"
(2 Peter 1:11 "And you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our lord and savior Jesus Christ." wink
And what he calls "By the skin of one's teeth method" or the way of fire.
(1 Corinthians 3:15 "If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved but only as one escaping through the flames." wink
So it goes to show that not a one sin (except the one mentioned above) can keep someone out of heaven, because if that were so no one could ever be accepted into heaven because all of us have sinned. A foolish though (sin) Lack of faith (Sin) Didn't do something that God wanted you to do (sin) Sin is everywhere and in almost everything you do. So I have finally somewhat eased my mind that no matter what it is that you have done, as long as you know the Lord Jesus Christ & The Lord our God then you are saved. AMEN I am no bible scholar and that's how I see it after reading those passages in the scripture.
To those of you who are reading this and feel that urge to finally let the Lord Jesus Christ into your hearts here is God's plan of salvation.
1. You must admit that you are a sinner. "All have sinned." romans 3:23 If you chose to remain in your sin, "The wages of sin is death" Romans 6:23. That means seperation from God eternally.
2. But Romans 8:32 says God "Spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all." And in 1 Peter 2:24, Christ "Bare our sins in his own body on the tree" That means all sin, my sin and your sin was born away by him. "And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin" 1 John 1:7. No matter what I've done, no matter you've done, Jesus paid the price to cleans us from all sin. "Christ died for the ungodly" (Romans 5:6) That means every last one of us.
3."Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13) but as many as recieved him to them gave the power to become the sons of God (John 1:12) When you accept him you become a son of him. You have had the new birth that of a spiritual birth, because without a birth you cannot be a son or a daughter. When you recieve him you are born again, it is explained in John 3.
4. Will you pray with me?: Pray with me, from your heart, and God will save you right now:
"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
If you have already accepted God's gift of Salvation like me but have fallen away and doubt yourself and are prepared to be a better person under God and take up the ministry pray with me too for that is what I am doing.
"Father, I am convinced that the coming of your son is at the door. Like the prodigal son, I have drifted far from You. When the prodigal son returned, his father met him with open arms, and put a ring on his finger and shoes on his feet, because he loved him. As your wayward child, I am returning. Open your arms for me like the father of the prodigal son did. Forgive my sin. Cleanse me. Give me a new beginning, that I may spend eternity with You, in Jesus name. Amen."
I of course may not be the perfect example and today I am taking a step to being closer to the Lord Jesus Christ and trying to become the better person. Today I pray that when Jesus comes and sweeps me up with him in the rapture be I dead or still alive in that "Twinkling of an eye" where he saves his children from the wrath of the tribulation. I am going to be a better person. To be as good of a person as I can be because the Lord loves me, and he loves you too.
I would like to credit the book "Everything you always wanted to know about PROPHECY but didn't know who to ask!" for the bible verses and quotes that were used in this blog.
