As a young child, i lived a quiet normal life. I was an average girl, smart, with supporting friends and family. I know what you're thinking: "Why include thisin a book about your unfortunate events?" The answer my friend: you shouldnt be so quick to judge! My, oh my, that is one of the major problems with society hese days. So damned judgmental! Ok, i better get back to the story before i trip over my own tounge! You see, the description i just gave you was how everybody else saw me. I was always shy,so as not to ruin this "good girl" image i had. To shorten it up, my life was a lie. I was living in darkness. My parents were supportive, that part was true. Though if i were to show off the real me, i would either be sent to a nut house, or they would try to change me. Have you ever noticedhow your parents say to not care what others think, that you should ignore the gad things they say about you, yet when you try to express yourself they say "Oh no! dont do/wear that! It will give me the image of a bad parent!" My conclusion: all of humanity is selfish. You can find selfishness in everything they do, even breathing!
But anyway, im getting ahead of myself. I would like to tell you a short story about two "firends" from my childhood.
