Cain chuckled softly, not even spareing her a glance. Nicky walked at his side, but behind him. Her cheeks were red, due to the fact she was only wearing a two piece she had on the beach. After about 10 minutes of awkward silence, Nicky finally spoke. “So…you’re my bodyguard huh?” She asked with a raised eyebrow. “Correct.” He answered casually, not even sparing her a glance. Nicky tried not to roll her eyes, looking to the side with a sigh. ‘What am I doing here…? Why am I following him…? This isn’t…real…is it?’ Soon, the sun begun to set, shadows overlaying the land around the two. The darker it got, the more Nicky stumbled over her own feet. Cain rose an eyebrow at this, his bright eyes moving to her as the two walked down the dark road. Nicky’s eyes drooped and soon she almost fell over. Cain sighed and wrapped an arm around her waist. Nicky’s eyes immediately shot wide, her face lighting up at the sudden feeling. She stmmered over some strange string of words, looking up at him. He gave her a brief, emmotionless look, rolled his eyes, then withdrew his arm. “Just tryin’ to wake you up.” He mumbled under his breath. Her green eyes bilnked quickly, then she nodded a few times. “Y-yeah, course.” She stammered, looking away. Soon the two arrived at a small building. “We’ll be staying here for the night.” He told her, walking up to the door of the small inn. Nicky had been following, then slowed to stop behind him. “Wait…what? In this little place?” She snorted, crossing her arms. Her bodyguard turned halfly, raising an eyebrow while his hard eyes locked on her. “You got a problem with that?” He almost growled. The teen froze, her pupils shrinking. Her head quickly shook, stiff as a rock. “Good…” He replied, leading her inside.
