Well Im off to some far away place
Where I dont know what will happen to me
Then again I never did
But at least you were there to comfort me
So, this is the goodbye I never got to say...

I'd tell you that I was scared...
That I didnt know what to expect
And that I'd miss you like crazy...
Even maybe that I...
But that doesnt matter, at least you'd know

I'd wait to hear a "Have a safe trip"
And a "Come back soon"
Maybe even an "I'll miss you"
But...thats to much to ask

This goodbye I never got to say
Is still inside of me
What I said that day was more of an apology...

I guess it doesnt matter now
Nothing does anymore, right?
Dont this is killing me... I'l be fine
