Juxiang died because she vomitted too much. Yosuke, her husband, died because he betrayed the Japanese. Yueniang goes back to 2nd Mistress, her grandmother while the others are away. She grows to become like Juxiang and excels like her. The family suddenly comes back. Yueniang got caned and 2nd Mistress is dead because she got TB, a sick disease that has no cure and you will keep coughing until you cough out blood. There is a younger sister whose a good girl unlike the other family memebers. The story keeps retelling. Yueniang's granddaughter is coming into the show
