What brought you here? I was born in central Bulgaria in a decent sized city. When I was a girl I would spend a lot of time to myself reading and practicing magic (my family was magic oriented, but they didn't teach me much), and it was when I was about ten years old did I have abilities with understanding and calming animals. After I would finish with my schoolwork, I would go out to the Thracian rocks outside of town and I would "meditate" of sorts. Maybe it was the Mother Goddess who helped me with my abilities, but with this practice I saw much improvement in myself.
Once my parents noticed my powers becoming stronger, they decided that I should start attending school where I could practice magic and witchcraft freely, but they wanted me to finish as much of my education at home as I could. During this time, I developed my "disgust", if that's what you want to call it, for mythical birds. I encountered a phoenix out by the ruins one day, and as I approached it, it lashed out at me, as if I had done something wrong, and it burned my hand. It looked rather remorseful for its sudden attack, but instead of healing me, it flew away, leaving this scar on my right hand. I haven't trusted mythical avians since that time, but it didn't matter, I was off to Bedlam soon.
After my initial arrival, I remained at Bedlam until i graduated from college, as I wanted attain as much knowledge as I could. After I graduated, I returned home and served as a Thracian historian for a short while before I saw the job opening at Bedlam Hall for a Mythical Zoology professor. Despite my past with mythical birds, I had worked with other creatures before, and I applied. Lo and behold, I got the job, and here I am.
Oh...and then there's this horrid tournament between Aether and Bedlam, not that I don't enjoy it, it is just a hassle, especially since I have to deal with a certain someone...
What do you like? I love animals, especially mammals and birds, but I only have a fondness for normal avian creatures. Harpies, phoenixes, and sirens disgust me... Oddly enough, however, I am an avid meat-eater and have a penchant for research and the sciences. I am never tired of learning something new along with the students.
Not so much... Like a mentioned, any mythical bird-creature of any kind is on my list of things either to avoid or get rid of. I know I teach Mythical Zoology, but just because I inform students about them doesn't mean I like them. The fine arts and music are also trifiles I prefer not to deal with...
Powers: Well, being a witch, I have skills in many areas, but I am mostly skilled in using spells and controlling a few of my furry friends, the ram, felines, and wolves are only a few on my long list. I can also summon the powers of thunder and lightning to my aid.
