Sorcha Vex is an ametuer air sailor with a kind heart and a stubborn disposition. Born into her mother was a court dancer from the blood elf clan and her father was a wealthy merchant who traveled all over selling fine goods. Her parents had a forbidden affair and when the courts found out that her mother was with child, they were condemned to death. Fearing for Sorcha's life, her mother and father spirited her away to live with her father's sister and brother-in-law, who lived outside of the elven territories. Unfortunately upon their return Sorcha's parents were captured, tortured, and killed, all because they were in love. When Sorcha turned eighteen she left her aunt and uncle's home to attend an academy for Air Sailing. But she wasn't satisfied with what she was learning. So she set out to experience the life of an air sailor for herself. The thing that set her apart from other air sailors her age, was her eyes. Most ametuers had a dreamy look, they wanted to find fame and riches. Sorcha on the other hand had deep lavender eyes that had a look of sorrow and a want for honor and redemption. And whenever a fellow shipmate of random stranger asked her why her eyes looked that way, all she would say was, "I want to reclaim my families honor, and to restore my father's name. "And when they asked her why she pushed herself so hard, all she would she was, "I want to be the best Air sailor this world has ever known."
