When MEGATRON requires aerial reinforcements, his elite teams of air calvary answer the call. A no-nonsense attitude, combined with a lack of compassion, is the sole reason these DECEPTICONS strike fear into the processors of their unsuspecting victims. Forming the core of their air force, the DECEPTICON AIR WARRIOR is a determined and ruthless killing machine poised to lay waste to terrestrial targets-on the surface or under the ground. Basic weaponry, consisting of cluster bombs and laser-guided missiles, is used to terminate any AUTOBOT sympathizer.

Considered only a myth by many, Alpha Trion is believed to be one of the first Transformers. His ancient optic sensors have watched Cybertron change from nightmare to paradise and back again over the course of milennia. Although he never pledged allegiance to any faction in modern times, the Autobots still venerate Alpha Trion for his legendary wisdom and compassion.
PROFILE
Throughout the ages he was the secret guiding force behind the Council of Elders and it's selection of new leaders, helping to assure that both Cybertron and the Matrix were both well protected. He is particularly fond of three Autobots, Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus and Elita One with whom he shares a special bond. He is the sole Transformer to understand the mazelike system of ever changing tunnels that lead to Vector Sigma.
ABILITIES
Information concerning his transformation and abilities have been lost in time. He is one of the only Transformers with an exact idea about the nature of the Matrix and Vector Sigma His databanks contain vast information about Cybertronian history, mythology and science.
WEAKNESSES
Alpha Trion is not very powerful in physical and military terms, or at least he doesn't appear to be so, due to his old age. He also has apparently lost his ability to transform.

Creating confusion is his specialty. As a Triple Changer, can switch from space shuttle to train to robot almost instantaneously. Thrives on foes' panic and fear. As shuttle, travels at 20,000mph in orbit, up to 50,000mph out of orbit... can launch weapons and satellites. Carries cargo. As a train, top speed is 400mph, range 1700 miles. As robot has great strength, carries powerful ionic displacer rifle.
PROFILE
Creating confusion is Astrotrain's specialty. As a Decepticon Triple Changer he can switch form from robot to locomotive train to space shuttle almost instantaneously. This ability not only leaves unsuspecting enemies perplexed, but often vulnerable to his attack. His favorite ploy is to lure an Autobot to chase him as he enters a railroad tunnel in train mode and then exits in shuttle mode. The Autobot is usually ill-prepared to battle the shuttle-mode Astrotrain and rarely knows whether two Decepticons or one confront him. But it is that particular moment when his opponent realizes his mistake that epecially delights Astrotrain. He truly lives for that moment and thrives on his foe's panic and fear. "It makes it all worthwhile," Astrotrain says gleefully. "That part I enjoy even better than destroying him afterwards!"
ABILITIES
As a space shuttle, Astrotrain can achieve, under his own power, planetary orbit, where he can attain a maximum speed of up to 20,000 mph. He can launch weapons and satellites while in orbit, and carry other cargo as well. If he carries an extra fuel supply, he can leave his orbit and is capable of true space travel, boosting his speed up to 50,000 mph. He would be able to travel from the Earth and the moon and back, but not much more. As a train, his top speed on rail is 400 mph and he has a range of 1700 miles. In robot mode he has great strength and carries a powerful ionic displacer rifle, which destroys by disrupting molecular bonds in metal alloys with its beam.
WEAKNESSES
Astrotrain is prone to mechanical breakdowns as a train in his wheel assemblies. As a space shuttle his communications systems often fail him and he must be wary of burning up while re-entering the atmosphere.
