Just when we thought there'd be a break between battles, two new enemies have appeared. It started to snow on their arrival, and began to storm thunder and lightning in the same scenario. One of the two guys is for some reason...hard to track. He has no energy signature, but he is the one wielding the snow phenomena, while his counterpart is attacking with Lightning.
I should have seen the connection earlier: with snow--whose basic form is Water, it isn't hard to create any form of electrostatic discharge, especially in an open area in the air. Because the air is cold and dry, static electricity is a lot more prevalent. On an even greater scale, with this storm, and everyone on the ground, they are in an even greater danger if they don't utilize a counter-source. I think the best bet is to get rid of the snow in the area, and avoid water at nearly all costs. With my handicapped use of Fire, and Light's ability to use different wavelengths of light, it should even the odds. Desmond is...I'm beginning to suspect some things. Some of the things he told me, made me wonder more about him, and his thermal abilities. He said it was...against the law for him to even be there. I have many theories in my mind, but perhaps I'll approach him about it when this is all over with...if I even live through it.
Speaking of heat, this fever is starting to take hold of me. Its becoming more and more difficult to concentrate on my connection to the Elements. And with having to move things or create and pull things like metal and Earth together, two of my hardest to concentrate on on a normal stance, I'm spiraling down to a useless state. It's another reason why I wanted to take to the roofs overhead. If I pass out, the others wont have to worry as much unless something else happens. My main focus is...Abel? I think I heard Light say his name some time when the fight commenced. He just...stands there. I also believe because of this, his power lies in controlling the Elements like the snow and Ice, among other things.
In anycase, I hope all goes well, and nothing too horrible comes of this. I don't even know if this is the last entry I'll ever make. A part of me hopes so, but until it actually happens, I have to push forward for Noah and the others.
Failure is not an option.
