There is something
There in the darkness
Yet no one knows
What it is
The time has come
You no longer can
Hide from the darkness
Its coming for you
You just sit there
In the corner
In the dark room
You start to see a face
You know what it is
Yet there is nothing
That can stop the darkness from getting you
Before you know it
You see a light
No one else has ever seen
You look into the light
And see a man
You think to yourself
What is he doing here?
Why has no one else seen him before?
What you don't know is people have
But the darkness took them
Before the light was able to
Save them
You where lucky
The person in the light
Loved you from the start
Of life
He is the person who can
Save you from the darkness
And he did.
You no longer have
To worry
The person in the light
