I'm walking alone.
The rain is cold.
The sky is black and blue.
Just like the stones you threw.
It hurt before.
It won't anymore.
I have overcome you're mountains of stone.
You're stones hit hard,
but it didn't hurt long.
You poked at my faults,
that i tried to hide.
It doesn't matter now.
I know now.
That you too,
have your own faults.
Everyone does.
And you hid yours,
by pointing out mine.
I'm the only one,
that sees past your disguise.
We're different though.
I've stopped hiding.
I'm free.
And you still chose to be caged,
and lash out your rage.
I now know.
The saying is true,
"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."
