The profile comment from Ian is starting to grow on me. It is pretty cool! It is something neat to be able to say I have. But it is not worth a million gold. And I'm still mad about the vagueness and lack of information about the event and what we were getting.
On a related note ... I know I shouldn't get into internet arguments, (you'll never win by arguing with idiots), but I'm getting annoyed by all the people in the GCD who keep saying things along the lines of, "You should be happy you got anything, it was a DONATION!!1!11!!" They don't get it - it was a gold sink, and the thing you were "donating" to was a fabricated store crisis. I just get annoyed by people treating me like I would expect the Red Cross to give me some reward for donating to a disaster relief fund. Apples and oranges, people.
A soul-bound item would not have defeated the point of the gold sink, either. Which is what I thought I was getting...
