This is a little late seeing how I arrived in China on the 16th, but it's better than nothing! So I'm in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. I'm attending the 浙江大学。 Lol which is Zhejiang University. It's quite a lovely place. I've got my own room so that is nice. The surrounding area (Hangzhou) is lovely too. There is such beautiful architecture but so much of it is still unfinished. So far we've only really been to downtown Hangzhou but we've got plans to visit tempels, pagodas and such. I'm quite excited about that. My Chinese class was interesting when I first started off, but I've adjusted well. The program is so different from the one at my college. It's more intensive, they ONLY speak Chinese and it's rather fast paced but at the same time manageable. I've got wonderful teachers and they are willing to help and willing to perfect their English has well. smile The night scene is also fun. Haha, clearly that means I've experienced it. There are quite a few foreigners in Hangzhou and they are all willing to meet others too. I was quite excited to be staying at the international college so I could meet people from around the world as well. It's a wonderful experience. It's only been a week since I've been here so that's 5 more to go. I'm not sure how I'll feel when it's time to leave, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it!
