I just finished taking a shower and when I was leaving the bathroom and going by one of the backdoors leading to my backyard I heard a loud rustling and it sounded like something big was kicking cat food cans around and punching the large bag of cat food. (I have two cats)
At fisrt I was thinking it was my dad messing with the cat food and for some reasons the cans were in his was and he was kicking them around. I was also thinking it could be my neighbor's two kittens who seem to like pushing around cans and stepping on bags or coal and cat food. But the kittens are too small to make such loud noises so that couldn't be a reason. So I thought my dad was outside. I wanted to know what he was doing because I am always curious so I went to the other door which is the door we usually use and I saw the door was locked...
So I thought it couldn't be my dad... My dad isn't stupid enough to lock himself out. Then another thought came to me. Maybe a burglar of some sort? But a second later I thought to myself. No burglar would be stupid enough to make so much noise if he could see most of the lights still on.
And well as I said. I m always curious...
So I slowly unlocked to door trying to make as little sound as I could. Then I pushed open the door quickly because the door squeeks a lot if you open it slowly. The I look over at the table my cats eat at to see a HUGE possum. And I actually had never seen a possum in real life so I freaked out and screamed quietly and called for my mom who was in the same room as me. Then my cat walked up from the dark with a look on his face saying "Why the hell are you screaming so late at night?" and since I was already freaked out a bit I got scared by my cat who gave me another look as if he was saying "You are one crazy child, my friend."
Well anyway my mom ran out with a mop (not a broom) and started hitting things and as the possum ran away it knocked over a trash can and broke a huge hole in it.
