The Fallen Hearts
There was once a princess and a samurai. The samurai loved the princess and she loved him too, but their families opposed of it. The samurai went to the king. He was going to tell the king that he wanted his daughter's hand, but the king had news for him. He was needed in war.
He walked to the princess' room, he was stopped by the Queen. She said, " I'm sorry but she is sleeping and she doesn't want to be disturbed." He sighed then he went outside.
The Queen went in the princess' room and said,"Daughter, word has it that your samurai is going to war," The princess yelled frantically," What?!" ," As you heard." "Where is he now?" "He left to his home to rest because he starts tomorrow." "Oh...okay." When they were finished talk the Queen left and the princess was alone. She went to her balcony and begged for his safe return. She began to cry, then she heard a voice,"Princess," She paused," Princess it is I!!" "Is it really you?" "Yes my love, it is me." He popped up from the planters. "Yes it is you!!" "But why aren't you asleep?" "My mother told me that you were going to the battle." he said, "But your mo-," He groans, "Your mom said you were asleep." "She did? Well i haven't sleep since yesterday. She must have lied so that we couldn't see each other." Then he looked at his pocket clock and looked at the time. "Sorry but, i must go." Good-bye princess." "Wait!!" "Yes?" "Promise me, you will come back." He looked surprised, kind of scared, "Y-yes I promise." His expression changed to calmness and she kissed him. He said, "Thanks for the go away gift." She blushed and he laughed gently. "Now i must go." "Wait. I don't know your name." He smiled and replied,"Thy name is Gertrude, princess." She smiled. "Whats your name princess?" "Thy name is Yuki." Gertrude kissed Yuki, she blushed. "Bye, princess."
~20 DAYS LATER~
The princess go the reports of the war and she read them to her father, the King, and her mother, the Queen. She said, "Good news, we won the war!!" Everybody was so happy they had a leap for jump,"The bad news is tha we lost 5 men in it. This is the list of dead men...Ternary, Adam, d**k, Danny, and...." The princess fainted. The Queen yelled frantically, "Whats wrong Yuki?!" The Queen read that last name,"Gertrude."
