An autumn day,
The branches on the tree sway,
Down fall two leaves,
Eying one and not the other,
They fall side by side,
I gaze at both judging their beauty,
I chose the Maple over the Oak,
Held the leaf to the sky for what seemed a moment,
and let it go,
Through a harsh winter,
And the brutal showers of Spring came summer,
A familiar breeze swept across the sky,
And the leaf returns stuck to my chest for a moment,
before the wind carries it away once more,
Foolish I may be to follow the leaf for hundreds or thousands of miles, No matter the distance I may be from it I will pursue.
