I have realized that songs take you places just as easily as a book with or without lyrics there is always a story in music even the lack of a story is a story.
I like to listen and travel with my ears to far off places and all different times and dimensions.
Today as I was turning up my speakers as loud as they would go without blowing so that I could drown out the noise of my Dmitri's father's game play while Dmitri was going to get a few things from the store. I did this futilely as his father had his sound on high and my headphones, that work as my mics, aren't strong enough and this angered me even more but I didn't stop because . . . well I'm stubborn and if I stopped i would have felt stupid for doing it in the first place as I already knew there was little chance that he would hear it and if he did he might have shut off the sound and IM chat that Dmitri and i had set up which would not have been good. confused ninja But the point of this story is that while i was thinking dangerously of all the ways I might meet this menace that will be my father-in-law one of these days I was listening to pure cinema classics*this way I sounded both musically sophisticated and also they are beautiful to listen to and also because if he mentioned it or if he did hear it he would maybe think I was an eccentric person that he should at the least be weary of *frowns again this probably wouldn't be a good impression to make but if you can't get respect you should strive to put fear in the hearts of others at least it is how I usually do things to keep myself safe* But again to the main point*
I was listening to Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence and I was instantly transported to japan and china and oriental places or foreign ports that were raining in my mind and I was loving it I mean once you are put somewhere you start to think of how things might be there and your mind lets you try them out whether they are imaginary or true to life.
