I let out a big, long sigh as we reached the gate to our collony. Iron and steel never looked so strong put together. Dianices glanced at me through her side vision, "Did you bring the bodies?" She asked me as she cocked her head to the side, looking at me lazily. I held up the corpses of a ferret, a fox, and a wolf.
(In our clan if someone has fallen in the group you must hunt and bring back food for the rest of the collony.) "Leader Proteus won't be happy about this.. you know that right?" I snuffed up at my sibling. "Than it's a good thing that we know the leader, herself personally then, eh?" A simotanious grin appeared on our faces.

"THE MOTHER FUDGING HELL DIANICES!!!!, RAVEN!!!" Proteus yelled furiously. With a half eaten turkey leg in one hand and a bottle of cheap rum in the other. Drunk as can be, I thought to myself: "How can this be our leader..." I sighed underneath my breath. "What was that you said about 'knowing the leader personally'?" Dianices brought up my apperant quote. Then again, I didn't care two shits anyway about what she had to say in the first place. Then two of Proteus's followers came into the tent with us. Now since our dear leader was wasted off her a** on rum, she didn't notice that they were on our side. Chucking the turkey leg at N'taz's pretty face, he fell back hard. I put my face in my right hand and glanced over at Dianices who was laughing it up as loud as can be. "I'm surrounded by idiots..." Hikaruna mumbled, another one of Proteus's followers. Now equipped with a shokey stick, Proteus began swinging it aimlessly around the tiny a** tent, everyone cleared out immediatly, ecept for N'taz. Who was still on the ground holding his delicatly featured face. Luckily for me I grabbed his collar and whipped him outta the scene.

Gagging when I finally dropped him. "Jeez, what's her problem!?" N'taz picked himself up and dusted himself off with haste. "She's s**t faced obviously!" Dianices, non-surprisingly still laughing her butt off. I sighed and looked at N'taz, who was still trying to clean himself up. I walked away and of coarse, Dianices followed and the rest of them stayed put. I held up the necklace and tied it around my neck firmly. "You know you'll be banished if you're found with that charm on.." Dianices reminded me. "Yeah I know, but I don't really care at this point." I replied to her. She lowered her head and whispered: "Well I do.." I sighed and looked back at her and smiled a fake smile and took her arm in confidence. "You know what time it is?!" I said happily. She gaspsed and ran with me still attached to her arm. I landed flat on my bottom when she came to a sudden stop. Grumbling I stood up and dusted off my a**.

The sparkling waters of the pond were always a happy sight for me, Ookami and I always came here to relieve ourselves of stress or whatever the day had in store for us. Dianices transformed into her mezmorizing animal of the white tiger. She stepped into the crystal clear waters and began to bathe herself. I looked into the water and saw the reflection of a gigantic black cat staring back at me. It's yellow and green colored eyes peircing the ripples of the pond. I put one paw into the water and then the other, purring to the warmth that filled my body and the clean smell of roses filling my nostrils and scences. I breathed out slowly. Dianices shook off the eccsess water and then layed back in it. I walked over to her and settled down, I fiddled with my black, spikked collar and twitched my long, sensitive, whiskers. The steam rose up from the top of the spring. I purred and Dianiced copied me, then she came closer and started to bathe me wth her red tonuge. Extending my claws in and out, my tail whipped in every direction possible.

Then from off the the far left we both heard something moving.. contemplating, stocking us. I stood up an growled menacingly and Dianices did the same, but unexpectily, I wasn't a threat (well if you wanted to cal it that) Proteus, in the nude rushed out of the bushes, balled up tighly and screamed: "WOOOOHHOOO!!!!" and did a cannon ball into the spring, splashing water everywhere and totally runined the mood. "Oh great, it found us.." I giggled and tackled the cheetah to the the ground. Proteus grinned and tried to knock me off, she managed to. Dianices was cracking up again as always.


Finally, when everything became serious. Proteus settled down right next to me and Dianices was a few inches next me as well. I licked leader in comfort, her furr stood on end, I smiled and rested my head on her scruff lazily. "Now, I've heard that Ookami has fallen to his own kind.. Am I correct?" I rose my head up and nodded, Dianices did the same. "Well I knew this would happen sooner or later.." Proteus sighed and ducked her head in the hot spring and shook it off, sprinkling me, but I didn't mind it so much. "Leader... Is it also true that when he was a wolf cub you took him from his parents...?" I asked with causion. She paused and looked at me and a few seconds later nodded her head. "Yes, that is true. They abbanoned him because he was wounded, they believed that he wouldn't make it, so I took him under my wing and nursed him back to health. He turned into a fine warrior and a promising leader.." Proteus nudged my face. "I understand that you had strong feelings for him Raven, but he was suffering from a miserable illness. He was dying slowly, painfully.. It is best that he is gone." She always spoke words of wisdom to us all, her way of words was magnificent. "But if he was a wolf, the same as our enemies.. Why did they kill him?" Dianices finally spoke, I was starting to get concerned. "Because they saw him as a traitor, an enemy, They didn't know that I intentionally took him for that single purpose.. They had thought he turned to us on his own.. Really, he didn't even know that he was basically adopted by us.." Leader dipped her head into the spring again and repeated it again. I looked over at my sister and she peeked back with a look on her face. "Is... is there anyway to.. bring him back, sempai? (Meaning: master or leader)

She finally brought her head up from the water and peared at me and grinned. "I feared you'd never ask me that question...."
