How can I be such a fool?
He deserves better than me.
He needs a girl. A girl that he can love,
A girl that I can never be,

He needs a girl that he can see everyday.
He needs a girl that he can see her smile and cry.
He needs a girl that will make him happy.
He needs a girl that can never die.

He needs a girl that he can get hugs from.
He needs a girl that he can call every hour.
He needs a girl that he can kiss. Hold hands with.
He needs a girl that he can save from a tower.

He needs a girl that he can cuddle with.
He needs a girl that he can share laughs with.
He needs a girl that he can pat on the head.
He needs a girl that he’s comfortable with.

He needs a girl that he can gives presents to.
He needs her to give him flowers and love.
He needs her to be there for him.
He needs a girl that can sing lightly as a dove.

He needs a girl who looks beautiful.
He needs a girl who shines bright.
He needs a girl with long, smooth hair.
He needs a girl who will think of him day and night

He needs a girl who doesn’t mind of what he does.
He needs a girl who always listens to what he has to say.
He needs a girl who wouldn’t worry too much.
He needs a girl that can stop saying sorry that May.

I say all this because I love him.
I want him to be happy. That’s all I need.
When he smiles, I will.
If I see him happy with that perfect girl…

It’s hard to let go, but it must be done.
Even if I pull the flower peddles one by one.
Every day and every night I’ll think of him and me.
But I can never be that perfect girl he wants me to be.
