The book of the Ellenia's

It's a sunday afternoon in Febuary. We are at the magical bookstore. Sakura is looking at a element spell book and I'm standing next to her.

I hear Maylin call " Sarah come see this. "

I walk over to where Maylin is. " What is it ? "

" It's the book of the Ellenia's "

" What ? "

" It's your history. "

" oh. "

" I think you should get it. "

" How much is it ? "

" Five dollars. "

" Okay I guess I'll get it. "

Sakura walks over and takes the book from her sister. " Maybe it will help us find out where the box is hidden. "

Half an hour later I am lying on my bed with the book in my hands reading. Then I find something interesting. " Hey guys come here. "

Sakura sits next to me on my bed. " What did you find ? "

" Our answer. "

Maylin looks at me. " You mean where the box is ? "

" No but it helps. "

" What does it say " Sakura and Maylin ask at once

" That the Ellenia girls fingernails change colors when their powers get strong enough "

" And that helps how ? " Maylin asks

I keep going. " Blue means I'm using magic. "

Sakura interups " That explains what happened at our house. "

I nod. " Red means I'm near someone with magical powers. "

Maylin interups this time. " That explains them right now. "

I look at my nails and of course they are red. " They are orange when I'm near someone with almost the same powers . "

Both girls say " Li. "

I nod again.

Maylin giggles " I thought they were orange because she likes him. "

Sakura smacks her sister. " You know that isn't true. " Sakura turns to me " Continue. "

" Yellow means I'm near an Ellenia. And heres the useful part. If I get near something important to the Ellenia's they will turn black. "

" So if you get close to the box. " Maylin starts

" They will turn black. " Sakura finishes

" Yes exactly. "

" Does it say anything about the box in the book ? " Sakura asks

" One second. " I look at the table of content. It says page thirteen so I turn to page thirteen. " The box of the Ellenia's is the box that was passed down the Ellenia blood line. In nineteen fifty four the Ellena's decided to hide the box. The exact whereabouts of the box of Ellenia's is currently unknown to anyone except the Ellenia's as is the content of the box. . It is said that only a Ellenia can open the box. "

" Well that was no help. " Maylin says

I flip to the front of the book and start reading. " The Ellenia family is a very rich and powerful pure blood magical family. The Ellenia's are known for doing great things The Ellenia's are also quite fond of the saying ' Everything happens for a reason' "

" Is that it ? " Maylin asks

" No I'm just tired of reading right now. "

Morgan and Taylor

It’s been a week since I got the book or Ellenia’s and I’m sitting at the table reading when I find something interesting. “ The story of Morgan and Taylor. “

“ Morgan and Taylor ? “ Sakura asks

“ My mother’s name was Morgan but I have no clue who Taylor is. “

“Morgan and Taylor the twin daughters of Julia and Thomas Ellenia. It is said that together they were extremely powerful even at a young age. Sadly when Morgan was sixteen she disappeared. Her twin Taylor still lives in the Ellenia castle. ’

“ What castle ? “

“ It’s kinda like a mansion but it’s really old . It was a castle well it still is. The Ellenia’s use to be like queens. I read about it yesterday. “

“ Oh. So you have a aunt. “

“ Ya. I guess I do. “

Maylin comes into the room. “ What are you guys talking about ? “

“ We are talking about my aunt. “

“ Your aunt ? “ She asks

I show her the book

“ Maybe she could tell you where the box is. Or at least what’s in it. “ Maylin says

“ Too bad I don’t know where she lives. “ I flip throught the pages until I find a family tree. “ Oh my god look. “ I point to the tree.

“ Wow. “ The twiins say at once.

“ Okay so my mother’s parents were Julia and Thomas . It says here that Julia is still alive. My dad told me my grandmother was dead. “

“ Maybe he thinks she’s dead. “ Sakura says.

“ Maybe. “ I notice a question mark by my mom’s name. “ Look at this. “

“ That’s because they don’t know if she’s dead or alive. “ Maylin tells me.

“ Right . But Taylor is and she has a daughter named Madison. “

Sakura looks over my shoulder. “ So that means there are three people who know what’s in the box. “

“ And there to find it. “ Maylin adds.

“ If they get to the box before us we will never know what was in it. “ Sakura suddenly says.

“ I still can’t believe my father lied to me. “

“ I’m confused. “ Maylin says from the other side of the table

“ My mother told my father her parents were dead. “

Maylin ponders this for a minute “ I still don’t get it. “

“ She couldn’t let Sarah’s father meet her parents because they didn’t even know if she was alive. “ Sakura says to her sister.

“ Okay. I get it now. “

“ Good. “ Me and Sakura say at once.

Sarah-Lee Ellenia

“ Sarah, did you know your last name should be Ellenia ? “ Sakura asks me one Saturday morning

“ Really ? “

Maylin nods. “ All Ellenia’s last names are to be Ellenia even if their father’s last name is not Ellenia. “

“ Sakura-Lee Ellenia. “ I say to myself out loud.

“ I like it. “ Sakura says

“ Same “ Maylin agrees.

“ It has a nice ring to it. “ I say agreeing

Sakurra gets up. “ If we don’t leave like right now we will be late. “

A few minutes later I slide into my seat in Mrs. Elliot’s class.

“ Sarah where were you at breakfast ? “ Sabrina asks

“ My room. Why ? “

“ We never see you outside of class anymore. “ Melody says

“ Sorry. I’ve been busy. “

“ With what ? “ Melody asks

“ Japanese stuff. “ I say because this way I’m not lying.

“ Oh. I still can’t believe it is almost time to March break. “ Sabrina says,

“ Me either. “ I agree

March break is just around the corner. For the first time since September I’m going home. I’m quite excited to see my dad again. Also my cat Snowball probably misses my terribly because my dad won’t touch her. Snowball is a pure white Persian. My dad got her for me for my tenth birthday. I’d always wanted a cat so he decided to get me one. I was really happy.

“ So what are you doing for march break ? “ Melody asks

“ I’m going home. “

“ For the first time since September right ? “ Sabrina asks

I nod.

“ That’s cool I guess. “ Melody says “ I’m going to my grandmother’s “

“ That should be fun. “ I say

“ No. It’s actually going to be really boring like always. “ She replies

“ Oh that sucks. How about you Sabrina. “

“ Going to my dad’s “

“ Oh have fun. “

“ I will. I only see him three times a year but he’s awesome. “ Sabrina says.

“ Well I hope you have fun then. “ I say

“ Thanks. “

The Truth

It’s Saturday, one day until march break.

“ Hey look a page about my mom. “ Sarah calls to Maylin and Sakura.

Maylin sits across from Sarah “ Read it out loud. “

“ Morgan Ellenia was one of the Ellenia twins born to Thomas Kell and Julia Ellenia. Morgan and Taylor were said to be very powerful. They were always together up until November 5th 1994 when Morgan disappeared. She was pregnant when she disappeared. She was engaged to Eric Cains the father of the baby. It is unsure whether of not she ended up having the baby or not. “ Sarah reads

Sakura looks at Sarah a moment and then says “ That means Eric Cains is your father. “

“ My dad, I mean step-dad has probably known all along and never told me. “

Maylin nods. “ Maybe he doesn’t know. “

Sarah looks questionably at Maylin “ How could he not. I mean she disappeared in November. I was born May 10th. And they got married July 30th. “

Sakura changes the subject “ Speaking of the disappearance I wonder if she got taken or ran away. “

“ I’ve been wondering that too, I guess we never will know. “ Sarah replies.

“ Maybe Eric Cains knows “ Maylin adds.

“ Maybe. “ Sakura agrees.

“ Why does that name sound familiar . “ Sarah asks herself. “ I could swear I’ve heard it before now. Cains, Cains, Cains .

“ Roxanne “ Maylin interrupts

“ What ? “ Sarah asks

Maylin replies “ Roxanne Cains. And I’m sure she said her father’s name is Eric. “

“ So Cains is a common name. So is Eric. “ Sarah asks

“ I’m just saying. “ Maylin answers.

“ Maybe there is more about him in the book “ Sakura adds.

“ but he’s not an Ellenia. “ Sarah points out.

“ It’s worth a try. “ Maylin adds

“ Okay fine. “ Sarah says getting the book

“ Did you find anything ? “ Sakura asks minutes later.
“ Eric Cains was suppose to marry into the Ellenia family but he didn’t because Morgan disappeared. Eric is the father of the child Morgan was pregnant with at the time of her disappearance. He ended up marrying Samantha Drew who has ni magic what so ever and having a half-magic daughter Roxanne who has no powers. “ Sarah reads

“ Seriously ? “ Maylin asks.

“ Ya. “ Sarah answers.

“ It could be worst “ Sakura adds

“ How ? “ Sarah asks.

“ She could be magic. “ Sakura replies.
