district 9 is awesome.
i still like meat, and fish, and i'm going to keep eating both when i see you, but we already talked about that. i'm just mentioning it again because i'm hungry and not at home so i can't cook, wauuuugh.
i'm not going to let anyone else stress me out; i have enough stress factors in my life to let a job i don't really get much fulfillment out of to make me cry myself to sleep or something else ridiculous. i'd like to think i'm a good worker in anything and everything i do, but i'm going to make sure you know when you're annoying me. if not through speech (because i really don't like talking [to bosses ((about my feelings))]), then through my eyes because i'm really good at that "stare at you with ill intent" thing.
apparently, i'm getting a string bass. this is excellent news since i'm not paying for it and i can like... do gigs or something. but it's been years since i last played so i have some brushing up to do. also, i'm not a jazz musician so... time to learn i suppose.
when going to a new place (moving in for new semester of college, going back home for the season, etc), i take a ritual shower that's scalding hot, and i scrape my skin with pumice. it's not as bad as it sounds, because i'm exaggerating... but yeah, hot and pumice. i took this ritual shower at my new house despite not having a shower curtain, so my floor was wet for the day it took a spare towel to soak it up. but that's fine because it's my own damned house and i can keep a wet floor if i damn well please.
i was going to do one of those "things you want to say to people but didn't" segments, but nah. there are a few things, but i think i'm pretty good at saying what i want to say, directly or indirectly. should i be more direct?
