We have been marching in the american royal parade in Kansas for the longest of all the bands in Kansas. Our band was actually formed to march in this parade. It is our 75th time marching in the annual parade and our 75th year of band. So why I ask you do they go to commercial on all the news stations in Kansas right before we pass them?
All of the other bands in Kansas City Kansas got air time in the parade except for the one band that has been in it the longest. The Turner High School band worked hard on this parade for absolutely no credit from any news stations. I am a trumpet in the Turner high school marching bears. Last year we only got 6 seconds of air time and we had new uniforms.
We are also the poorest school in the Kansas city area and they just ignore turner as a district. Too long have we been ignored by all the other schools. We have been ignored by all people and that is bullshit. The reason we are ignored is because we are the poor people and we have not been able to donate to their causes.
