It snowed today! And quite a lot too. But more about that later.
First of all, I have two stories, both of which feature running. The first one took place yesterday. We were in maths, and ellie said that if we were quick enough, we could make a nice berry roulade. So we did our work quickly, finished and asked mrs chaloner if we could go early. The first time we asked, she said no. But then I asked her again and she said yes C:
So we started walking to ellie's house. We were walking quite fast, and chuckling nervously at the prospect of making a berry roulade. Then ellie said we might as well just run, so we did. We ran, we ran quite badly.
We made a speedy cake *speedy hand gesture* and ate it on the way back to school on paper plates :D Then after debating, we finished it off with john, and we also made him forget his rowing >.> OH I had so much cake that day, it was good.
Right, second story: this morning I was a little late for school - it's a thursday and I need to get there early to catch the consortium bus. I made it to the last stretch of pavement and I SAW IT. The bus. The bus to french, poised to zoom away.
So I tightened my rucksack straps and broke into a run. Oh I was speedy. But then I felt a sudden tug - I knew it was my bag opening up from my running and all the contents flew out onto the pavement. THEN in started SNOWING. And that was just typcial, I thought.
I tidied everything away - stopped snowing, very short lived snow this was - and walked to the bus which didn't leave me.
On the bus, I gave ellie her present. She laughed when she saw it because she had bought me the exact same hair clips that I had got for her. So yeah, now we have matching hair clips. Bit creepy. Still pretty.
On arrival at allerton, we were greeted by a lady "maybe she's here to tell us that there's no french" said ellie. And for once, our predictions that french is cancelled were CORRECT! So that meant 5 whole hours of no lessons cool I went home and did baking.
In the evening it snowed properly, whilst I was at the scout christmas thing selling cakes. I was so pretty @w @ All the snowflakes, swirling around, in the glow of the traditional lamps, and the big church silhouetted in the sky. It was just like a christmas card.
What is this?! It never snows before christmas, never! I hope school is cancelled tomorrow, even if it is the last day. Then I can go and play more with charlotte in the snow C:
