The night came as quickly as the sun set. She could hear her desperate breath in the dark cell where the cut along her temple slowly bled. Death was the key of this pain and torture that she felt would save her. Slowly she exhaled only to find that she wasn't breathing. She thought she was dead... or at least close. As the time passed she could only wait for the seconds to begin ticking and her life to end. Within minutes she could feel the pain surround her in her in darkness. When she awoke she found the figure sitting in an upright position leaning against the wall for support. The man looked at her with weary eyes and asked for her name. the words became lost. unable to speak she sat up and simply stared. She noticed the bars separating the two and she felt more at ease. the room was small, just enough room for one. A light shone in through the window near the top of the cell. The sunlight was dim. It could have been for many reasons until she saw the one thing that separated everything from her mind; a star. It's very creation touched the her soul and gave her the hope that she had once longed for. Reality took place in that thought though and once again and reclaimed its victim. The pain that she felt could not be described. She simply cried, for the first time in her life. The young girl was merely 14. She had blonde waist long hair that was almost a filthy brown color from the dirt. The cell she was in was filthy. It was damp and dirty, the walls dripped as though they were crying as well. the floor was wet. almost ankle deep in a lake of filth. Still, she could not complain. she was safe here. At least for now she was. Slowly the memories engulfed her in a dream that had already come. she remembered the sun slowly rising on the lake near to her house. Her parents lay lifeless on the floor. Only her and her sister remained. "Lucille, will you come here for a moment?" her sister asked with an eerie tone to her voice. Though that was to be expected; they were both still insecure. Their parents had been wanted for many reasons by the police. They finally caught them and destroyed the young childrens' lives. The only thing left in the world that they thought could ever be better was the fact that Lucille and claries still were together.
